42 North Vermont is proud to present Hilltop Hideaway at Stratton.

Perched upon a 1.6 acre knoll, with wonderful views of Stratton Mountain, this iconic home is located just a short drive to the Stratton Base Lodge and the Stratton Sun Bowl - perfect for a family getaway!

This bright home is everything a Vermont home should be. Featuring unique architecture, A-frame like cathedral ceilings, 2 wood burning fireplaces and sun filled rooms, you'll enjoy relaxing after a day on the slopes. There are beautiful mountain and forest views visible from each room and the open beam ceiling, natural wood accents, and mountain decor all come together for a perfect mountain home feeling. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bath in addition to a half bath with stacked washer/dryer. A large master suite, guest bedroom and bunk room make this a great home for families.

From this location, you'll be able to participate in everything the resort area has to offer from winter recreation to summer events, concerts and the arts. Come experience the Green Mountain lifestyle of Vermont!

In the warmer summer months, there is hiking, biking, kayaking, and paddle boarding, as well as scenic tours, the Bromley Adventure Center and local farmers markets.

* Maximum occupancy is eight. Strictly enforced as per the State of VT Division of Fire and Safety.
* The nightly rate includes hot tub maintenance. The hot tub is serviced between each stay.

Stratton Views Home

Perfect ski house for a family. Bonnie and David were so quick to respond and answer any questions we had. House has a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. Location is great for skiing at Stratton. Minutes to the access road. We would rent again next year!Thankyou for sharing your home with us!

A must stay for Stratton Mountain!

This is a perfect property for a group of two families staying together at Stratton Mountain. We had 4 boys comfortably in the bunk room and there are 2 separate living rooms on the first and second floors. Normally, we don't communicate that much with our host but we got over 2 feet of snow during our stay and need brooms, shovels, and so on... and communication with David was awesome. Every time we needed something he responded in less than 15 minutes. We would definitely stay here again. Also the hot tub was super clean and in total working order. A++

Great Ski Getaway

David and Bonnie are amazing. They were so timely getting back to me when I had any questions and anything that needed attending to at their lovely home. My grandson especially loved the loft off of the upstairs family room. He only left there to ski and sleep! We all enjoyed the home and the location. Peaceful VT

This house was perfect for my husband and our two children. Great location close to mountains and waterfalls and watering holes and a lot of local hikes. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub, staring at the stars and hanging out by the fire pit, the view of the mountain from the deck was exquisite. David was very responsive any questions that we had, and was very prompt and helpful. The house was on a quiet road but yet close to everything it was everything we were looking for in our Vermont getaway. We will definitely be back soon.

Lovely Get-Away!

My niece and I wanted some time together and the Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect location! The chalet and location are beautiful and we enjoyed hanging out and using the hot tub. We also took advantage of the location to do some touring and hiking. It was less than a 30-minute drive to Mount Snow and to Equinox. We also found a few fabulous restaurants. We plan to book again next summer. Thank you!

Loved it

Close to Stratton Mountain. Close to 7-11, coffee shop, beer store, local restaurants. Beautiful views of the mountain. Hot tub was awesome. 2 fireplaces perfect for relaxing at night (family could spread out). Great kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Would 100% stay here again. We loved it.

Beautiful mountain views

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this ski chalet along with our dog. Our communication with David was excellent and his help was prompt and complete. The house is very comfortable with a lovely jacuzzi and it’s close to Stratton Mountain.

Hilltop Hideaway

Beautifully appointed house and location

We had a lovely long weekend at the Hilltop Hideaway. The house is beautiful and the views are great. I can imagine in the winter this would be a spectacular location for skiing, particularly since you can see Stratton from the deck. The only issue was weather related - we stayed during a heat wave where outside temps were above 90, so the house was warm, although tower fans helped. We also recommend Pastime Pinball in Manchester center - they have a lot of old and new pinballs and it's a great place to visit. Thanks so much!

Hilltop Hideaway with Family

The house is perfect for a ski getaway with family or friends - it has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and the house is not very far from Stratton mountain. A plus that we could bring our black lab as well. We would love to come back.
