Bruno & Sylvia were very welcoming. The cottage was charming, a little dated but fantastic views. The showers were refreshing as water never got too hot. The pool was a perfect size. You would need a car or make use of their recommended taxi driver, Egbert who was exceptional.

Relaxation in Nature

Bruno and Silvia are a lovely couple with a great place! They accommodated us so much on this trip! The cottage is perfect, you will feel right at home. It is the perfect in-between of a nature getaway with a modern twist. Highly Recommend!

This house is beyond stunning! Sylvia and Bruno are very thoughtful and wonderful hosts!

The views from this home is spectacular! The pool is beyond amazing! My husband and I visited for our 23rd anniversary and decided this was our best vacation to date! The location is central to Gros Islet and Bruno recommended a knowledgeable and entertaining driver (Big Up Egbert)! I cannot stress enough how beautiful the property is. Lots to do in Saint Lucia! Beautiful island and wonderful people ❀ Thank you for a memorable vacation. We will be back! Kisses Merlot! The sweetest guard dog! đŸ„°

Highly recommend. We will stay here again.

We loved our stay at Bruno and Sylvia’s place — the cottage was perfect for us, a private pool on the west side and a shady deck on the north side. We were welcomed with fish cakes and rum punch and anything we needed during our stay was graciously and promptly supplied. ‹‹We will definitely come back.

Beautiful cottage with an incredible view

We had an amazing stay at Bruno and Isabel's cottage. The view is amazing and the cottage is great - big comfy beds, huge showers and the pool are is perfect for a couple or 4 people - it has an amazing view out over the bay. Bruno and Isabel are lovely hosts, meeting you when you arrive and welcoming you with rum punch and homemade fishcakes! They checked in with us to make sure there was nothing more we needed and were available throughout our stay if we wanted them. The cottage is about 7 mins drive from Rodney Bay but feels wonderfully secluded, like you're in the middle of a jungle. We had a wonderful stay and couldn't reccomebd it enough.

Sylvia is St Lucian and Bruno is from France, having first moved to the Caribbean 35 years ago. We both have a wealth of knowledge about the area and we wish to ensure your stay in our beautiful St Lucia is a memorable one.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

After living in the region for many years, I (with my architectural background) decided to design a home where all the benefits of the Caribbean life can be enjoyed. The Sea, the Sun, and the Nature
 at Black Pearl Cottage you feel the presence of these three elements around you at all times. With this open-style Villa, you have breath taking views of the Sea and neighboring islands. Almost every day, the Sun is shining and the Nature is all around you. The house is surrounded by a lush tropical vegetation with many flowers and fruit trees such as lime, mangoes, avocados, golden apples, guavas, coconuts, sugar canes, bananas, breadfruits, pawpaws, local plums and more. We also like to grow our own herbs and vegetables.
Staying in this environment gives you a real feeling of being away from everything, yet you are just 7 minutesÂŽ drive from Rodney Bay.
We do recommend a vehicle and as we are on top of a hill, access will be more comfortable with a 4x4 or AWD vehicle.

It is calm, peaceful and relaxing but you are in fact only 7 minutes away from Rodney Bay where is all what you may need.
