From the large screened porch to the window filled master bedroom, you will have the ability to enjoy the scenic views from each end of the house. After a day of kayaking off the private shoreline, enjoy barbequing on the expansive back deck or roasting smores in the stone fire pit. This vacation home offers families the ability to make wonderful memories while enjoying all that picturesque Lake Champlain has to offer. Only 5 minutes south of Plattsburgh and 60 minutes from Lake Placid, the access to activities is endless at this location.

The house was perfect for a winter graduation from SUNY Plattsburgh. There was enough space for grandparents, parents and siblings. Casey was quick to respond to any questions I had. Would love to stay in the summer, I imagine the lake would be amazing!

Everything was just as described. The outdoor spaces were perfect and we spent 99% of our time on the screened in porch. Kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms were spacious. The house layout is great and has various gathering spaces inside and out. Right on the water and a great view and easy access to water.

Great stay with lovely view

We celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary here for long weekend. All 8 of us were very comfortable here. We had fun renting a boat nearby and kayaked. Great fun.

Wonderful family weekend spent at this great property! Wasn’t great weather so the screened in porch was so fun for playing cards and enjoying our family dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and grill! The home had plenty of room and was so comfortable. Casey was so easy to work with, and answered all my questions immediately and even offered an early check in. Thank you for a great visit to Lake Champlain!

Lakeside Luxury - The Name Says it All

The view of Lake Champlain is amazing. You cannot help but relax at this house. Windows provide a full panoramic view. A new, large deck and backyard give you an outdoor option. A 2-seaoson porch give you an option to avoid the rain.. Location is close to town and some nice restaurants. We have already booked our stay for next year.

WONDERFUL!

Beautiful house on gorgeous Lake Champlain. Roomy, comfortable, great deck and screened porch overlooking the lake. We hope to go back next year. Rental agent was very helpful, pleasant, and attentive.

Best sunrise I have seen on Lake Champlain.

The house and views were amazing. Love the sunrise every morning and the house was the perfect size. Wish we had some beach space but the kids still had fun swimming off the dock. Thank you again for a memorable experience!!

Fun Summer Get-Away

We had a lovely time on Lake Champlain fishing and kayaking. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and met all our needs. Two king sized bedrooms on opposite sides of the house with their own bathrooms worked perfectly for us. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for our morning coffee and then in the evening for game night!

Lakefront with beautiful view

Property was on a beautiful lake. Lovely decor and modern amenities. Plenty of sleeping /living space for whole family. We very much enjoyed our time kayaking, campfire and visiting ausable chasm so close by. There was no swimming for us as it ended up being a little breezy and the vegetation in the water a bit high. All animals all a great place!

Great time at Lakeside Luxury

Our pretty large family had a great, memorable family vacation at Lakeside Luxury. The house was plenty large enough with plenty of common space for everyone to get together for cards or just talking. Excellent communications and hospitality with the host. Graduation celebration

House and property were just what we needed to celebrate our grad. The lake was a perfect background for pictures. We had enough room for everyone, inside and out. We encountered a few issues but Casey was timely in her replies and offered agreeable solutions.

Great location but more attention to cleaning is needed

The location was excellent—definitely deserving of five stars—and we really enjoyed the screened-in porch. However, we encountered several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, we found trash in the kitchen, leftover coffee in the coffee pot, and a significant amount of hair on the bathroom floor. Additionally, there was no DVD player available for watching movies, and no cable/satellite channels. The gas grill had a hole in the bottom that leaked onto the deck. We brought these issues to the attention of the management and hope that, if we return next year, they will have addressed them.

Family Wedding Hub

Beautiful house, Beautiful lake view and access. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect place for our family to all be together while celebrating a family wedding. Cons were the kitchen and other area were not very clean. I had to clean when we got there. No ironing board or iron which was key to our stay. And was unable to contact the property manager for 2 days. Over all we had a great stay. Great place for a family get together.

Unbeatable views with interesting layout

House was great. Casey was great, very quick to reply and solved minor issues we had. 3 bathrooms very useful. Views from the screened porch, deck, and master bedroom were unbeatable: they face East, can watch the sun rise. Washer & dryer housed in the closet of one of the bedrooms, so laundry involved coordinating w/ occupants of that room & loss of privacy on their part. Fire pit was great, but only 3 chairs for outdoor use. We brought some of our own. Interesting issue with well water (I guess it was hard water, white coating on most of the dishes washed by dish washer). Houses we rented before with well water had water softener built in.

Alumni reunion perfection

8 college roommate from SUNY Plattsburgh reunited for our 20 year anniversary! Perfect location for all we needed to do. Easy access to downtown Plattsburgh, proximity to ADK hikes and Ausable Chasm. Lake view is one of a kind with shallow entrance off the dock. Beds were comfortable and showers had good water pressure and temperature control. Nothing negative to say about this Plattsburgh gem!

S’mores by the lake

31 Gunboat Lane was fabulous for our family get together! Our favorite things were the fire pit overlooking the water, for roasting s’mores at night, the quietness of the four house street, the proximity to Ausable Chasm and other great hiking places, and most importantly, the screened in back porch for playing cards! The table on the back porch comfortably provided seating for a ten person dinner. The house is very comfortable. Casey the rental agent was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with any questions that we had. We definitely want to return here next summer!

gorgeous house

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous house. The lake was so pretty and the area was beautiful. We stargazed every night on the dock and it was one of the most beautiful things. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to come back.
