Howell Mountain AVA is one of the most prestigious wine-growing appellations in the world producing award winning wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. The Estate is located only 15-minutes from downtown St. Helena and minutes away from ultra-premium boutique wineries such as Cade, La Jota, Dunn, Summit Lake, ADAMVS, Arkenstone, to name a few.

This secluded 20-acre estate comes with its own:
- 4 acres of private Cabernet Sauvignon working vineyards
- Hiking trails through vineyards, Douglas Firs and Manzanita trees
- A legitimate bocce ball court with beautiful views of one of the most expensive vineyards in the world!
- A game room with a pool table and an 80s' video arcade machine
- Entertainment room with a 10-foot projector screen featuring premium channels

Please note: this is a very large house, there are areas not included in the rental such as private owner areas, closets, basements, bedrooms and a separate apartment above the gym that are not included as part of the rental. Three bedrooms are available for overnight accommodations. Rest assured we rent to only one group at a time, so you are the only one renting rooms in the house and it is not a shared rental situation with other guests during your stay. The owners, who also work the vineyards, at times are present on site and stay in a completely separate apartment on the property.

My family had the most wonderful stay at Rodrigo's property! We enjoyed coffee/breakfast on the back patio and walks through the vineyard. Rodrigo treated us to a personalized wine tasting, compete with a tour through the vines - it was a true trip highlight! The house, rooms, and amenities were all top notch. We hope to be back!

The host Rodrigo was so attentive and held a private wine tasting for us at the house. He checked in regularly to make sure all was ok. The house is in a great location and is on and surrounded by beautiful vineyards. There was a lot to do - a pool table which was much used and lots of walks on the property.

Napa Valley Weekend

What a delightful place for a family get together! Very well equipped home in a vineyard on Howell Mountain. Host could not have been more accommodating. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and vineyard as well as the pool and outdoor deck and grill. Looking forward to our next visit on Howell Mountain!! Thank you Ricardo for sharing your home with us.

Wine tasting trip

This house is perfect for a group or family. Great location up on Howell Mountain and close to some fantastic wineries up there as well. No need to go down into the “valley” for tastings as Howell Mountain offers some of the best red wines you’ll ever taste! The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Rodrigo was a great host who made sure everything was to our liking. We will most certainly be back to rent this house in the future.

Amazing trip and stay!

What a beautiful place! The property was beautiful. We enjoyed taking walks around it before departing for our daily wine tours. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for making breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after returning as well. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and all the ones we used had their own bathroom. Rodrigo was very helpful before, during, and after the stay. He helped us navigate and plan our trip along with a little education about Howell Mountain wine. We would highly recommend and definitely return!

Wonderful vineyard stay!

This is a beautiful property in a unique vineyard location. The surrounding area supports higher-altitude vines that produce unusually complex wines. We experienced several tastings both nearby and in Napa, and also enjoyed first-rate meals in St. Helena. The house is comfortable and nicely appointed. The hosts live on-site and were immediately attentive to any small issues that arose.

Best Trip Ever!!! 5 Stars is Not Enough!!

Very rarely do I write a review, but 5 stars is not enough for this weekend at this beautiful property in Angwin!!! The property is stunning, the house is fantastic, but the best part of this experience was the hospitality of Angela and Rodrigo. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, that we had a great time and ensured our experience in Wine Country was top notch. The location is so cool, it’s on Howell Mountain, surrounded by vineyards and great wineries. Our group can’t wait to come back. Serendipity brought us to a piece of land nestled among the slopes of Howell Mountain with a single-acre vineyard of cabernet sauvignon in need of some TLC.

We have embraced the challenge of grape growing. Humbly learning a new trade founded through friendships with experts in Napa Valley and by rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty.

In 2019, we broke ground on a 3-acre expansion project and in Spring 2021 more than 3000 new cabernet sauvignon vines took root, and in 2024, we proudly harvested our first crop - already showing incredible promise in the glass. Our journey continued in 2023 with the planting of Manzanita block, dedicated to Cabernet Franc.

In 2025, we released our inaugural vintage with extremely limited production - met with great enthusiasm and acclaim.

You are welcome to walk around our private Vineyard "Coyoacan Vineyards".

The 3-story house with open beam ceilings and a hand carved staircase is surrounded by unique vineyards and pool views.

All our rooms are fully equipped allowing us to comfortably accommodate special requests.
You can choose to relax on the couch in front of the living room fireplace or gather all your party members and spend the evening playing pool together. Enjoy a leisurely game at our bocce ball court overlooking the vineyards or self-reflect at our meditation labyrinth surrounded by the quiet forest. On the deck area a comfortable outdoor lounge, with dining table, and BBQ perfect for entertaining.

In the late afternoon relax and enjoy a bottle of wine taking in the gorgeous vineyards on our Sunset Terrace. Napa Valley’s geography makes for picture-perfect sunsets. Spring and winter months can also lend some twilight cloud cover, which creates cotton candy-colored skies framed by dramatic purple mountains. We are surrounded mainly by conifer and oaks, explore our 20 acres property hiking at your leisure.
