The Gathering Place is a 2285 sqft house with 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen with dining space. The house was built in the 1950s, well maintained and recently remodeled. There are hardwood floors throughout the first level of the house and it is conveniently located in the center of town. The house has a finished upstairs, with two bedrooms, full bath and separate AC unit for comfort and a partially fenced backyard.

The house is exactly what we need to gather our extended family together for what has become an annual Christmas tradition in Owensboro. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We use the kitchen a lot and it is very well equipped and very clean! Overall an excellent weekend with family!

Our group of 11 that attended the ROMP Festival loved this place for our stay! It was perfect! The AC was great! And lots of beds! We were very comfortable!

Great stay in Owensboro

This our first time to chose an rental like this instead of a hotel room in Owensboro. The owner was great and everything about the stay was so nice. This house was great for us and our children.

Beautiful spacious home away from home

Our youth team stayed at the property there was plenty of room and the setup for families or parties with youth are well accommodated here. There was a washer and dryer and everything we needed to cook and stay here

Dance competition stay!

The house was perfect. The kids were able to sleep together in the room with the twin beds and there was more than enough space for all our dance stuff.

Memorable Weekend

We went to Owensboro for a family wedding. Our stay was wonderful. We had plenty of room to visit and still not disturb those trying to rest. Everything was very clean and just as we had hoped. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Family Fun Weekend

We enjoyed staying in this homely inviting house during family fun weekend. It was nice it has enough beds for our son to stay with us instead of in his dorm room. King and queen bed were super comfy. Owners very nice to work with. We definitely recommend this property.

Family Christmas

My husband and our 4 adult children really enjoyed our stay! We will be making it a tradition - the together spaces are nice and roomy and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. This house made our visit to “home” for the holidays just right for all of us.

Perfectly Located

Great space. Locations was quiet and family was able to walk back and forth from their place a few blocks away. Super safe neighborhood, centrally located and easy to get to everything we needed. Definitely will do again.

Immaculate cozy home away from home.

We rented this house over the Xmas holiday. The home is super clean and accommodated our crew with room to spare. The hosts, Kevin and Joy, communicated great and are friendly and helpful. 5 star house, 5 star hosts. Highly recommend this location!

Owensboro & Holiday World

Had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was spacious. The rooms were as advertised. We found the area to be safe and pleasant. The property was about 40 minutes from Holiday World and we enjoyed downtown Owensboro as well (10 min drive). The owners were extremely responsive when we asked a question. We would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend

We were traveling for a youth football tournament with lots of kiddos. House was immaculate. Everything a family would need was provided. Rooms were nice size, beds were comfortable, kitchen was above standards, location was great. There were games and books for all ages too. Definitely recommend!

House hunting

We were a group of six. The oldest was 93. I was worried about her being able to maneuver with a walker and she did just fine. We were looking to buy a property in Owensboro and having this one as a base made the search easy.

great 5 days

When we first pulled up, I thought the house was going to be too small. Then after entering the house, it was great for our bunch of people. There was plenty of room to set up cornhole boards and other outdoor games. There were no complaints from anyone that stayed in the house. That says a lot because as you all know there is usually one in the bunch. It was a great time. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.

Great Gathering Place

Clean and comfortable. We stayed while attending a wedding in Rockport IN. Lots of space for 7 adults including privacy in multiple bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has the very basics including the always appreciated real coffee maker (no pods here - yay!) Shopping was nearby for forgotten items. Kevin was a great host, answered questions/concerns quickly and left easy to follow instructions. Thanks for the hospitality!
