Beautiful home and back yard. Plenty of room for our group. Great kitchen and location. Only negative was that a 10 am checkout seemed too early since we couldn't check in until 4.

I agree the 10 AM check out (industry standard) can be a challenge. But so is cleaning a huge house like this after so many people stayed. So much laundry to flip all the beds! At any rate, we loved having all of you stay with us. Please come again!

Wonderful place for a large family to gather! Loved the wooded property around the home and all the extra amenities! Close proximity to downtown although we wish the shuttle was able to pickup and drop off as parking is impossible during busy season. Would definitely come back again!

We had a truly wonderful week at this beautiful home. We were a group of 15 family for a reunion including five children raging in ages from 10 months to 11 years old. There was something for everyone! The setting is simply gorgeous with the woods spread out behind us and complete privacy. Proximity to town is big positive. The basement is full of fun things to entertain the kids from foosball to Pac-Man to ping-pong to a disco light! The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The place was immaculate. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

I am really torn leaving a review for this property. The property itself is beautiful, if you want Fall foliage, it was gorgeous. Location was great. Super quiet, saw deer in the back yard. Great kitchen and appropriate cooking utensils, etc. Loved having the option of a hot tub. Awesome game room, enjoyed using the pool table. Would have loved to have played darts as they have 2 dart boards, however, there were zero darts available. There are 3 full baths and 2 half baths but only one working hairdryer. There was a great fireplace, as advertised downstairs, however, there was a sign telling us not to use it. The most disappointing of all of this was that I texted the appropriate number about the darts, hairdryer and the fireplace hoping that there might be spares somewhere and at least an explanation re: the fireplace but 3 days later I have not received one response other than check out instructions. I’m glad nothing serious was wrong because we would have been on our own.

Shannon, please check the thread where you texted us. We absolutely did respond. Within an hour of your texting. We explained where the darts were. We told you how to start the fireplace in the main bedroom since it’s a gas fireplace and worked with a switch and that is the only fireplace we promoted in our description. Further, we apologized about one hairdryer, but hair dryers are hard to keep in a short-term vacation rental. Somehow they go missing. At any rate, we are glad you enjoyed the house and we pride ourselves on our responsiveness.

Our family stayed for a week in October. The property was large, secluded, yet amazingly close to the park, popular trails, the beach, and Bar Harbor. The basement game room was a hit with the kids and the jacuzzi was enjoyed by all. The property offers many opportunities to see wildlife including deer, fox, raccoons, coyotes, and even bear. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Acadia!

Fall in Bar Harbor

The home was beautiful with plenty of room for 9 people ! The house is conveniently located to town and the park! We couldn’t have asked for better weather and fall foliage. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great last night to weekend stay in Maine

We had a great night at Strawberry Hill, we stayed one night as an end to a weekend camping trip. I would highly recommend them for any group/family looking for a house with a lot of space and great for families of all ages with the activities provided. Thanks for a great ending to our trip!

Weekend trip

We only stayed the weekend, but would have loved to have spent more time here! We were able to be with family, but still have our own space as needed. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the house had to offer! Would book again!

Fantastic Bar Harbor Retreat

We had an amazing stay at this spacious, spotlessly clean house in Bar Harbor. It's conveniently close to downtown, with a beautiful backyard and all the amenities we needed. The kids loved the basement with ping pong and foosball and the basketball hoop in the driveway. Highly recommended!

Family Reunion

Finding a home for a family reunion is no easy task, however this house accommodated us all. The house was clean, secluded, and within a moderate walking distance of main streets in Bar Harbor. Everyone in my family was satisfied with the stay.

Perfect for multiple families.

House is as advertised and more. Location is great. So close to town. House was wonderful for 6, 15-17 year olds. Everyone had enough room and there was great space for game nights. The property manager was delightful and helpful. Highly recommend.
