The lodging here was perfect. The kitchen was properly stocked and had sharp knives! The decor was lovely and comfortable. The ski in/out trails were great. Jennifer was easy to reach and fast to respond! Will come back!

This cabin provides a perfect retreat in the woods. The decor gives the place a rustic but cozy feel. Very clean. Beautiful fireplace, comfy beds. Everything we needed was there. The host was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fun and comfortable stay.

We like the location near Mosquito Brook. Obviously, a new build that is cozy on a beautiful piece of property. I was glad the owner met us and explained the different heating systems. We loved hanging around the gas fireplace.

What an amazing property! Our week long stay could not have been any better. The chalet is absolutely stunning. The decor, the layout, the comfortable furniture and beds .. it was all perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and took daily walks along the paths that are just steps away from the front porch. Jennifer is an amazing host. We can’t wait to visit again!

5 stars! This cabin is a Hayward gem. The highlight for us was the direct trail access; we could be on the Nordic ski and hiking trails in seconds. Beyond the great location, the cabin itself was exceptionally clean and very comfortable.Jennifer was a fantastic host and made communication incredibly easy. It was reassuring to know she lives nearby if we had needed anything. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing Nordic retreat—we can’t wait to come back!"

Jennifer is an amazing host and The Chalet is an absolute perfect property! The warm cozy atmosphere, ski from the front deck (bike or walk the same trails in the summer), relax with a coffee or glass of wine and realize life doesn’t get much better than this. Secluded and quiet, yet less than 10 minutes to town for plenty of restaurants and shops. Definitely a 5 Star spotless property!

I love the Brook Trail system and the direct access from our pristine Brook trails which feed directly into the Birkebeiner and CAMBA/Maqwa mountain biking trails.

Nothing better than being able to ski, hike, bike, run, or snowshoe right outside my door!
