The communication from the booking agency was abysmal. They were very late in their communication, did not actually communicate when they said they would. The local customer service on the back end was good. They came out in a timely fashion to fix/repair things that should have been addressed prior to our arrival time. Specifically the upstairs fireplace would not start and subsequently required the technician to wire brush the area where the pilot light was supposed to have been lit and ready to do its job upon arrival. When we arrived, the hot tub cover was half closed, the tub was half filled with water and there was a heater error code. The tub took overnight to achieve an appropriate temperature (expected but not usable). Multiple light bulbs were burned out or non-functional. There was no on site “welcome book” with tips unique to the specific property such as garbage pickup day or even some local tips/suggestions for dining/activities, etc. This property was by far the least prepared for arrival on the date reserved. When there are as many choices as there are in the market, we certainly choose against this management company’s properties. 3 stars for the responsiveness of local customer service and once the fireplace and hot tub were repaired they worked as expected.

Stayed in this beautiful cabin for 6 days. Only frustration we had was the hot tub broke and drained out all the water after 10 minutes of use 2 separate times and took a total of 3-4 days to become operational between fixes, refilling, and heating back up. This was a bit of a damper on an anniversary trip, but the management and maintenance team were very friendly and helpful each time. The parking space for this cabin was one of the lesser scary options i noticed in the area that had pull through entrance/exit instead of backing out the way you came in, which was ideal for a bigger vehicle. Cabin is very close to all the things! I would stay here again and is perfect for a couple

We go to the mountains every year and found this one a year go. This is now our second stay and we won't be looking for any other places any time soon. Perfectly situated on the park side of Gatlinburg (quiet side) with an easy drive to and from the main drags but also is situated where if you know the backroads and all, you can avoid the traffic.Secluded and has great views. We love it

Very nice very helpful people I spoke with on the phone. Everything was straightforward and we had no issues. The cabin was nice the view is beautiful the bed was the best I've slept on in years. All in all we had a wonderful time and things could not have been easier.

Loved the property but was disappointed that the hot tub was not checked before we arrived, it took 3 days before we could use it. Also the gas grill was not in working order, management did offer to have someone come fix but we didn’t want another technician on site after 3 days of having someone there. We loved the space and the location, although we did have some loud neighbors.But none of this could ruin our experience as this property is pretty magical.

Mountain cabin

We chose this spot as a last minute adventure on our 7 week trip around the Eastern US. I could’ve stayed the entire 7 weeks in this cabin.Loved it!!!!!

Nice place in the mountains

Enjoyed uor stay, bedroom is in lower level so as others have said, will need to climb stairs, we were there in june so no issues getting to and from the place, but there are some steep hills getting there, one side of the driveway made my Honda Civic "bottom out", just adjusted my angle in and out, did see a bear walking around the car and the nearby house, house is very nice, there is no view to Gatlinburg as the title states, but it is a very warm comfortable house with outside decks

Issues

Huge tear/hole in frequently used sliding screen door in dining room. According to prior occupants in the home from the book in the living room, that screen door has been like that since August of 2024. The grout in the shower downstairs was really bad in many areas. Vinegar will do wonders. Please consider it. The sliding screen door downstairs was so difficult to open/close we simply did not use it after our first attempt. There was no working light above the kitchen sink. However, there was some mangled looking wire configuration with black electrical tape underneath the cabinets to the left and right of the sink. The toilets were clean, thankfully. Also, a large number of the patio deck boards were in very poor condition and the grill was so dirty we chose not to use it at all. The tall pub table and chairs were very unstable/loose. Not a place we would choose again.

Place rocks

I'd like to tell everyone that this property sucks and to never ever book it just so that is always available to me and the wife whenever we want it. We stay a lot in the Gatlinburg area and have used quite a number of properties. Most of them we have been really happy with but this one is the one we will be staying at from now on. It's close proximity to the quiet end of Gatlinburg, the fairly isolated location... we absolutely love this place.

Nature and Wildlife Phographers

We enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from the cabin deck and surrounding hillside Nature. The lodge was as described. We had wonderful communication with our hosts Chuck and Vicki. We were visited daily by a large black bear who explored our vehicles.
