Disappointed

Disappointed with hotel amenities, especially when you have to pay 18.00 a day for them. Also had to ask for towels several times without receiving them. Thankfully we didn't drive, if we had that would have been an additional 28.00 a day to park there. 🙄 Not sure why VRBO even has a hotel listed on the site. Lastly, when asked if we could do a late check out (the night before) we were told to call the front desk the next morning between 7-8, just for them to say they cant do it this particular day. The lady the night before could have simply said that. Over all would not recommend staying here.

Clean, nice hotel room. Staff and management were nice. No hotel breakfast. TGI Friday’s is connected to the hotel though. Gift shop inside of the hotel. Universal studios has desks set up with staff in the hotel.

It was fine

I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to anyone. The staff was very kind and it was a quick walk to universal, but there’s something about finding random hairs in your room, mysterious stains, chipped paint, and the constant smell of
pee? That really made the stay not very enjoyable. The beds were tiny and the sheets were
ripped. It was creepy and not enjoyable. I wish I would have booked directly through holiday inn instead of Vrbo, I feel like I would have had a better experience. Not good on you Vrbo!!

Friendly staff! Efficient Location and Amenities

This stay went better than expected
 honestly I was hesitant after reading other reviews. Room and property were clean, all employees were very kind, personable and helpful. Purchased Universal Studios tickets from a friendly face at the Universal booth, rented a car from the on-site Budget rental and used the Universal complimentary shuttle service all without issue and everything was convenience. Only thing is the shuttle service does not run into the evening when the park closes but CityWalk is still open. Just be aware you may have to ride share back to the hotel. Pool was ok
this isn’t a resort style pool, but good enough since you don’t need to spend days upon days at the pool when right next to Universal! If you’re looking for a budget friendly place in Orlando with base necessities this is your place! Walkable restaurants and Walgreens. Even the outlets are walkable!

Ok Stay For What We Needed

We were just looking for a place to crash while daughter was at a volleyball tournament. The hotel was over ran with little kids because of a dance competition so being able to use pool and other amenities was tough. As stated
a good place to crash if that’s all you need.

Never stay here again!!

At 11pm to 2am for 3 nights in a row we were awoke by loud arguing and music, could hear it at the 5th floor from our hotel room. We could not sleep. The hotel staff allowed this to go on for hours. Also there is no complimentary coffee, costs as much as Starbucks and the Fridays was not impressive.

Front Desk lacks customer service skills.

We checked in and weren’t provided details about that we needed to get voucher for kids to eat free breakfast. TV channels were inoperable and when we attempted to call front desk, no one would answer. I went down to inform them after 2 nights of getting no response and manager’s response was to give me direct number to him. Surely he doesn’t work every day; therefore, that’s not a permanent fix. When we checked out at approximately 4am, the front desk person was in the back on her cell phone. We realized that we left something. Twice she made keys that didn’t work and we just left without the item. Being a former hotel employee and recalling the expectation we had for our employees, the service is less than subpar. Many act as though the guests are bothering them by checking in, requesting info, etc. i understand that the pandemic is causing staffing issues but if management accepts less, that’s what employees will deliver and the customer experience as well as the brand suffers. This stay has made me decide that Holiday Inns will be a last resort stay. With so many options, it’s likely I’ll never stay at another.

Alot of miss communication

When we arrived I asked to extend our stay. I had booked from a 3rd party,so I needed to go through them so I did, they told me I needed to book with the hotel! Needless to say I spent alot of time in line. When it came to the extra day ( after I was told everything thing was ok and we were good to go) our door was locked and our keys didn't work! AGAIN I spent a lot of time waiting in line! After a few trips back in forth to the room with different keys ( about 1hr +) we got it .... however I missed alot of family time! My family came from the nort Carolina to spend my birthday with me! I was waiting in lines at the hotel! One last thing our room looked at the roof with workers working. NOT what I expected!

Spring Break 2023

Working with the actual rental company, was 100% top notch! My only issues were with the elevators (only 2 of 3 were working) and the actual hotel cleaning crew. I was only there for 4 days and had to go downstairs to the front desk 3 of the 4 days, as cleaning crew didn’t: * Provide linens x2 days * Cleaned EVERYTHING one day, but didn’t make beds * We ran out of coffee cups 2 days, but they restocked cream/sugar packets Perks of the property: * Great location * Comfortable beds * Pool was heated and they always had fresh/warm towels (they’re small, so grab 2) * Connected to TGIFridays * Game room, laundry services, convenience store (well stocked with essentials), well lit parking lots, and Disney services (we didn’t use them, but they had them available) * Front staff always present and on top of it!

Old Property with no Amenities and Poor Internet

Property is old and has no amenities. Hallways smelled like mildew. Internet connection was terrible. Television reception was terrible on more than half the channels.

Great place to stay!!!

It was a lovely hotel. Everything about it made us feel at home from the staff to the cleanliness to the pool and the restaurant in the game room in the gift shop. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone.
