Roberts' Roost Private vacation home is located in the beautiful mountainside, gated Echota Resort. Parking for 4 vehicles at the home. ( a very rare amenity for Echota properties) The home has a 2 car garage with extra storage space for guest's use-store skis, and/or sporting equipment. Open floor plan, with gas logs in great room. Large screened porch, large deck, + covered front porch. Gas grill on deck. Cable TV in great room and main bedroom. 4 bedrooms; 3.5 bathrooms; sleeps 10. Indoor & outdoor resort pools and hot tubs, exercise rooms, billards rooms+other resort amenities. Hiking trails and a lovely river walk in the resort community. The home is nestled in a mountain laurel lush mountainside forest, with partial Mountain Views. Approximately 10 minutes to Boone, 15 minutes to Banner Elk or Blowing Rock. 5+minutes to Valle Crucis. 10 minutes to Ski Hawksnest snow tubing. 15 minutes to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort; 20 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain; 30 minutes to Beech Mountain Ski Resort.
The home is a easy, quick drive right off Hwy 105, with less than two minutes drive inside Echota Resort. Resort roads and home's driveway are all paved and maintained during weather events. No steep drive to house.

This home was located in a lovely community and was a great spot for six adults. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. We had a lovely stay hope to be back before too long.

Very clean, well-stocked super cute house in a great location in the Echota development. Love all the dishes and appliances, nice TVs..... Beds were many and very comfortable. Good quality linens!! Had just a wonderful experience with my family. All six of us had enough space so we were not on top of each other. Lovely screened in porch and deck. Would definitely stay here again. Hostess was so on top of things!!!

Wonderful mountain home!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous mountain home! Every detail was thought of, right down to drawers and cabinets being labeled in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept so well in the quiet mountain resort neighborhood. My adult children enjoyed the hot tub at the club house, and my husband was happy to be able to get in a good swim workout plus some fishing- awesome amenities! The host was lovely to work with and very responsive and accommodating when we needed to make some changes. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful winter weekend!

Well designed and well equipped, the house was perfect for us. Its location was ideal
.close to Hawk’sNest Snowtubing and App Ski Mt. AND it is not far up the mountain and very close to the indoor pool. The game table was a bonus! We hope to stay here again. Very highly recommended!

Excellent property!!

This property was amazing and so was our host! The kitchen had everything you could need and the neighborhood amenities were great for our children who loved to swim in the indoor heated pool after a day of tubing down the mountain! We will definitely be returning to stay!

Echota Resort Home

I recently stayed at this spacious mountain home with family and it was fantastic. The location is perfect with easy access to hiking trials, restaurants and attractions. The house itself was very clean and well organized with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole process a breeze. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Enjoyable family trip

Our family enjoyed our 4th of July trip in Robert’s Roost at Echota. Children had fun in pool and hiking. Screen porch was great gathering spot in the evening.

No AC-no big deal for owner

We were very disappointed that the AC was out upstairs for four days. It was absolutely disheartening that Melissa didn’t seem to care because “her friends like the mountain air.” I like it, too, but not at 78 degrees when I’m trying to sleep! The house has a lot to offer but we won’t be staying there. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with VRBO.

After selling our last Holden Beach home a few years ago, we decided to try a new location, and heard the mountains calling! My youngest daughter and I are both Appalachian State alumni so we are excited to be back "home". We love these mountains every season of the year, always beautiful, always relaxing, and always fun!
