Great beach break

Perfect house for multiple families. Lots of steps so not suitable for older people or small kids.

Helen, thank you for being an awesome guest. I will make a note to verify that the home description shows that it is a 3 story home. I am positive that the description shows that there is an elevator in the house for exactly the reason you mentioned. For older people to enjoy our house. Accessibility is important to us and so, our house is handicap certified as well.

The location is ideal and the home is beautiful! We loved that every bedroom had its own full bathroom. Every question we had was quickly answered by the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay there again. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It accommodated our group perfectly. The elevator was a blessing for us 50-60+ group. The only advice I would give would be to have it cleaner. There was sand in the floors. Perfect property just needs to be a wee bit cleaner. We definitely will book in the future.

Home was great

This was a first time traveling with pets other than ours. While I so appreciated that the homeowner was pet friendly, I regret allowing other animals outside my family to attend with us. If you plan to travel with pets, make sure you bring according cleaning supplies. The home overall was great. Don't anticpate showing up to play basketball as there is no hoop like shown in the photos. The beach is a very short walk. You are on the main strip into duck and corrolla so the traffic was very loud at times. The views are in the front but the quiet is in the back of the home. Elevator was so helpfull in lugging everything to the main third floor. You can hear every step made on the top floor if you are sleeping on the 2nd floor so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs. I assume this is common and all of those large homes. Overall we had a wonderful experience and the communication with the home owner was greatly appreciated.

We had a great weekend. The house was perfect. The table in the great room was perfect for family card night. We will definitely come back next fall. Thank you for sharing your house 🏠

Just what we needed

There was a very.minor communication glitch upon arriving, but soon we were in and settling, exploring this very big house. The living area on the top floor provided a comfortable gathering space with great views. Lots of traffic on the road but the house remained remarkably quiet. The elevator was s great help when there was a lot to carry or we elders were just tired. The house appears to be fully handicap accessible. The owner was cordial and responsive, and I hope will take care of the short list of minor maintenance issues we suggested (things like burned out lightbulb - nothing major). I would suggest bringing extra towels, including kitchen towels. We enjoyed our stay there, though. And would go back.

Beautiful house

We had a minor setback upon arrival. There was confusion with our clean linens. I called the owner and they were super responsive and kept me updated. We got our clean linens within a few hours. I had a few other questions for the owner, and they responded right away- communication was 100%. You will have to run to the store upon arrival, not enough supplies provided for the week (TP, Paper towels, detergent, hand soap etc) There are a lot of steps, but I guess what’s what you should expect from a three story home. Check in was super easy with the number keypad lock. Pool was fantastic, swim floats/ rafts, chairs are included. Hot tub was wonderful. House is beautiful. I and other family members very much enjoyed the front deck on the third floor, it’s perfect for people watching or hearing the ocean. Location was super close and convenient but I imagine it’s super busy in the popular months.

Retirees Fishing Retreat

This property is awesome! It was exactly as pictured online. If I could give 10 stars I would. The owners are available anytime to help you with whatever you need. Very nice to deal with. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’re going back next year!!!

Great Location

The house is an older home. Access to the beach was a very short walk. My parents (both in their 70's) were with use and they were able to walk to and from the beach with no issues. There were a few minor issues (cleaning the pool and hot tub) that were handled very quickly by the owner. He was very responsive to my emails. We had eleven people in our group and everyone was very comfortable. There was plenty of room.

Beautiful Stay and Attentive Owners

We came to the beach to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. He and his elderly parents have difficulties walking so the elevator was a HUGE help and part of the reason we booked the house. Quite a few family members came and 11 of us stayed in the house. It was wonderful. The house is a little older and, like most homes, has its own quirks, but the spaces were beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The hot tub got used some and those who relaxed in it thought it was amazing. We ate in except for the birthday dinner and the two stoves and the two refrigerators came in so handy for those who were doing the cooking. They said it felt like a dream kitchen. The views of the ocean from the front of the house were lovely and the beach was very easily accessed. Honestly, it was a wonderful weekend and I am so grateful to the owners for being available quickly to answer any questions we had and help us to feel valued as guests. Truly a magical stay.
