Beautiful property and the host is exceptional

The property is beautiful and our multi generational family absolutely loved our time there. The only things I can think of that would make the house better would be to have stairs going from the top patio down to the backyard and having a thermostat on every floor (instead of just the top and bottom floors). However, I would not hesitate for a second with booking the property again. Lastly, the main highlight for me was dealing with the host. She was extremely responsive and helpful whenever I contacted her directly. Thank you, Lisa!!

The fenced yard provided a great space to exercise our two dogs and our grandchild loved the playground area. The house was clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked with games and movies. There are plenty of dishes, pots & pans, and glasses in the kitchen. All the appliances are top-of-the-line.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the overall experience and easy check in and out are awesome. Although quality control when it came to the property was definitely lacking. The hot tub didn't work called to see if something could be done and was out on a work order where noine showed up the entire week and it was reported the first day. Going later in summer is risky with weather but having a hot tub was an essential so we were highly disappointed. Had a pet friendly home so you expect some things with that but we had to go to the store for carpet spray just to make the stair wells bearable to be in for linger than 3 seconds.... the back yard was riddled with dog poop....

We have taken painstaking steps over the last week to search all channels of communication and even did a search of our call history and have no records of you even trying to contact us with any of these issues. It pains up greatly to see such a negative review without contacting us to rectify these issues, that are reported to us just now, well after you have checked out. Yes, things can go wrong and amenities can break down but we have clear protocols to get these items repaired or even replaced as quickly as possible. Beach Realty and the owners of this lovely house care deeply about their guest's satisfaction and I think the review history, which anyone can read, speaks loudly to their commitment to provide their guests with a clean and well appointed home.

Great Vacation Spot

Ample room for all the family, ages from 4 to 68 years old. Plenty of space to gather. Kitchen was very well stocked!! Short walk to the beach. Pool was wonderful after the beach.

Family Vacay Southern Shores

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was by far one of the best rental properties we have ever had. The yard was probably the best part of the house as we had 8 children under the age of 8 and it was perfect for their needs as well as the parents. The kitchen was well stocked with 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers as well as plates/glasses/silverware/2 coffee pots and much more. The bedrooms were great each with its own tv. Living room had plenty of seating as well as a flat screen tv....plenty of seats for dining area....there was a renters closet with beach chairs/rafts/noodles/horseshoes. Plenty of parking area in front of house....short distance to beach with 2 public access routes (also beach parking pass). Easy access to stores/restaurants. As you can see we were very impressed. Thanks for a great stay.

King Beech is a great home with so many different amenities that make it seem like a home away from home for all members of the family! There is so much to do for each member of the family and it sounds like your family thoroughly enjoyed it as well!

Our Stay at King Beech Rental Property

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very neat and tidy and no maintenance calls were required. The pool and hot tub were checked during the week and cleaned to our satisfaction. The owner of the property called us during our stay - I thought that was a nice touch. The only problem we had was w/the rental company, Beach Realty. The property has passes for beach parking, however, we couldn't find these in the home. When we called the rental office, we were told by the agent that she would have to figure it out and call us back. She never bothered to call back and we never received parking permits. If this item was in the "too hard to do box," I'm glad we didn't need to phone in a really serious problem such as a maintenance call or lock-out.

Our week at King Beech

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a pleasant week overall. Backyard was great for the adults, kids, and dogs. Kitchen/dining area very cramped for that size house. Rest of house was very comfortable. House and yard were fairly clean, but not spotless. Trash cans were all full....we had to move to street when we checked in. Being located right on Duck Rd was noisy and worrisome for the little ones and dogs. On our second evening there we were all playing volleyball in the backyard, and about 7:45 the police showed up saying there was a complaint of noise. We were stunned, as it is difficult to have a fun volleyball game with people playing and watching without some noise. Understandable if it had been late at night. All in all we enjoyed. House was well stocked with games, indoor and outdoor. The owner called to welcome us, that was extremely nice. We never heard from the realty/property mgmt company.

During our scheduled courtesy calls that we conduct the day after your arrival, we did not reach you but wanted to take the opportunity to welcome you to the Outer Banks. We agree that it is difficult to play a volleyball game without a little noise. It is unfortunate to hear that your neighbors for the week did not feel the same. Nice Break from Routine

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice time getting away for spring break. The weather was cool, but mainly sunny. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kids enjoyed the volleyball court, but we were off season so the pool wasn't an option. It would be nice to return in the summer. Just a short walk to the beach made dog walking easy. The only downside was that it is noisy since we were right on the main road, but overall we had a great time relaxing, exploring the Outer Banks, and would do it again.
