About this space
Welcome to Cabin in the Clouds! This gorgeous 4 bedroom cabin is located in the Great Smokey Mountains and tucked away in The Village of Cobbly Nob. It offers a peaceful mountain escape with all the conveniences of being located 11 miles from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. This cabin features large balconies and a sunroom with picturesque views of the mountain range, movie room with over sized couch, karaoke stage, popcorn machine, sauna, and game room. This is the perfect mountain escape!

As you walk into this cabin, stop and take in the beautiful vaulted ceilings, open layout, custom made glass windows, AND THE MOUNTAIN VIEW!! This cabin features large balconies and sunroom with picturesque views of the mountain range perfect for sipping your morning coffee with a view. It's tucked peacefully away at the end of the street as you dead end right into the driveway for ultimate privacy. Your guests will stay perfectly entertained with a movie room, board games, popcorn machine, karaoke stage, Roku streaming capability on a large screen, and a comfortable over-sized reclining couch to chill out and gather. This house also has a sauna, activity-filled game-room with multiple gaming systems, large balcony equipped with corn hole boards and BBQ Grill, and lots of gathering / lounging spaces. What a perfect space to leave the balcony door open and enjoy a little indoor/outdoor living. Cabin in the Clouds is sure to provide the ultimate Smokey Mountain getaway, with all the conveniences of a home and surrounded by many awaiting adventures.

Pets: WELL BEHAVED DOGS ONLY. 2 Dogs Max and must be under 80 lbs. There is a one-time pet fee of $200 for one dog and $100 for the second dog. Must have proof of current rabbies vaccination and flea & Tick treatments. Must be house broken and crate trained. Pets must be crated if away from the house for extended periods of time. Any additional pets not on the reservation found to be at the house will result in an immediate cancellation.

Minimum age for primary renter is 25. 12 Renters max.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS:
1st floor - Primary Suite with 1 King sleep number adjustable head/foot bed.
2nd floor - King Bedroom with a sleeper sofa, Queen bed room, Bunk Room with 2 twin-over-full bunks that the kids will love!

The street dead ends into the driveway allowing room for up to 3 cars.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin was beautiful. Our host was excellent and was easy to reach and responded timely when we had questions. I would absolutely stay here again. My only comment would be for those who might be traveling with little children. The stairs to the lower level are steep and there is not a door at the top of the stairs. This turned out to not be a major issue for us because son and daughter-in-law brought a baby gate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Stayed with our family for 8 days. House was very clean, had everything we needed and a view that is unbelievable. We loved starting our day enjoying a cup of coffee on the decks with the view and ending it curled up with a real wood burning fireplace or movie on the big screen! The host is extremely responsive and we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Cabin in the Clouds is our favorite family vacation yet! The cabin is spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for making core memories. Sipping morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the Smokies is absolutely breathtaking! The cabin feels private but is close to all the fun in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The movie room/popcorn machine and board games were a hit on rainy nights. Robin is an incredible host—responsive, thoughtful, and even sent a care package my kids loved. Between the stunning views, the comfort of the cabin, the chance to spot wildlife, and Robin’s above-and-beyond hospitality, Cabin in the Clouds is truly a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

The view was stunning, especially with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise, and the house was perfect for our party of 8! The room downstairs with the projector and karaoke machine was the biggest hit with our family. It’s the perfect in between spot if you’re wanting to go to gatlinburg or pigeon forge. Robin was great, very easy to get ahold of and extremely helpful!

Fantastic stay! Within 5 minutes of unpacking, we had a small bear (1st/2nd yr) visit. S/He came by 3 more times. Also saw two larger ones (300-400lbs) on the road to the house. Grand kids loved the openness of the bottom floor, the karaoke and popcorn machine. When at the house, they also spent a lot of time in the Sun room. Will definitely rebook, if we come to Gatlinburg in the future.

Our family stay was wonderful. Had open and quick conversations with host. We really enjoyed our stay. Please be warned the roads leading to the cabin are steep and include some sharp turns. The views were incredible and couldn’t have asked for a better spot to vacation. We did get a few visitors to the property and as long as you follow the trash rules and be mindful of your vehicles you should have no issues.

Incredible Views

I’ve stayed in many cabins across Gatlinburg and the US, this cabin has some of the best views I’ve ever seen. We did have a few issues with items/lights not working, but the host was very responsive and communicated great. The road is a smidge steep to get to the cabin, like others have mentioned, but it wasn’t that bad (unless snowing). This is a great place for a variety of ages/families. We also got to see two bears on our last night - they were fun to watch.

Truly fantastic view

One of the best views of any cabin anywhere. It faces the national park side, so there’s no cabins on those mountains.

Amazing Location!

We have stayed in the Gatlinburg area many times and this has been by far our favorite place to stay. The drive is perfect, still nice and scenic, but not too long of a drive up hill. This home was perfect, we had ages from 70+, all the way to 2 years old and everyone had a space and an amazing view! I would stay here again in a heart beat, Robin was even awesome enough to help with mailing back something to me that I accidently left behind at checkout!

Tremendous!

This is an amazing property! The home is beautiful with plenty of room for everyone. I don't think there is a house in the Smokeys with more expansive views. We sat on the top deck every morning with our coffee and it was so peaceful. No other houses are visible and it is very quiet. We had 6 adults and 4 children from 4-14. Everyone had a wonderful time. There were games, plenty of TVs and the kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We cooked each day and always found the pans and containers we needed. All the beds were very comfortable. The house is near the Artist/Craftsmen Loop which was really nice. Also there is an entrance into the National Park just down the road where you can park in a lot and swim in the river. The owner answered any questions promptly and check in was very easy. Be warned, the road to the home is steep and winding so I wouldn't want to navigate it if there was snow or ice, but it was no problem in the summer.

Beautiful view

The view was beautiful, property clean, well supplied kitchen, towels blankets and so forth. The only negative would be unkept entrance was over grown had to walk through overgrown plants on the sidewalk. There’s only one bedroom upstairs and steps to the basement were very steep which resulted in my elderly mother not being able to go down stairs but a couple of times. So if you have someone elderly in a party this was a problem for us. The property manager stayed in contact often which was very nice. We did see ten bears on the property which was amazing.

Great home for our family get together.

We loved the view from this home. It felt secluded but was actually close to other homes. We cooked meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our family meals. We would stay here again.

Loved the View

The view was fantastic! Particularly liked the indoor patio room with and air conditioner. It is a great way to enjoy the view on a hot or rainy day. We really enjoyed this home.

Scenic and Fun!

Beautiful family cabin, with the perfect sun porch to catch the sunrise and the stunning colors of the sunset. The kids spent hours in the arcade and the karaoke stage was fun for the whole family! The owners are very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We cannot wait to come back, especially to explore mire of Pigeon Fordge and Gaitlinburg, which are very close. Thanks so much for everything!!!
