Find Peace In our Southwest Desert Casita

Linda and I, and all the incredible dessert birds that serenade our guests and us, were fortunate that Maggie and Dennis blessed us with their peaceful and special energy.

How Blessed and Fortunate we, as property owners, felt when, from "out-of-the-ethers" appear two wonderful people, with their young nephew. To top-it-off, was Penny, a wonderful, loving dog (ready to distribute licks and appreciating of "ear-scratches.") Doesn't get better for us. Jerome & Linda

Ron and Robin were wonderful, fascinating and interesting people = and great guests. I always looked forward to the conversations when our paths would cross. It was also amazing how many "non-coincidences" we found as we discovered that in 2 locations we lived near each other, the number of people and place we "shared in common." Kind of makes the efforts, expenses and time spent "creating a wonderful space available for guest / new friends" all worthwhile. Jerome

It is great joy sto share the property we hold as sacred wtih another who has similar apprecaition. Marji felt like a close relative, shared our love of the desert, its inhabitants and the sky above. Such a dear and caring person; we felt blessed by her presence "in our home!" Jerome and Linda

It was a real pleasure having Bruce & Karen, our Canadian visitors, staying for the month of January 2012. As with many other of our guests over these few years, they take great delight in enjoying all the many pluses in our one-of-a-kind guest house, including the surrounding beauty & tranquility of our unique North Scottsdale Sonoran desert. It can't get much better than this!! We really appreciate those who come to our Alma del Desierto, experiencing in full measure all the wonder our place and its environment has to offer. Since we also live in our own home on this very large 2.5 acre-property, we have the opportunity to assist our guests as the need arises, & joyfully witness them truly enjoying their holiday. Though we might be a little sad to see new friends leave, we're thrilled they leave with such satisfaction & happy memories!! Jerome & Linda

The phrase "it takes one to know one" is very appropriate. The gracious way in which Marilyn and Bob report about Linda and I, and our property, is similar to the way we would "brag" about them. While our guests stay in their guest home, we are all living on, and sharing, the 2 1/2 acres of Pristine Sonoran Desert of which Linda and I have always considered ourselves "caretakers". Every;thing that occurs on our desert affects us; and we considered ourselves blessed by the energy, presence and harmony of Marilyn, Bob and, of course, their four legged child, "Grace".

Susan, Saul and "Sabi" were incredibly wonder guests; the kind you know will become friends. Great joy sharing our campus and our "Sonoran Desert" with each and all of them.

So Appropriate is the expression “it takes one to no one”. Linda and Michael were another of the very special guests who brought with them harmony and a peacefulness and their wonderful smile’s. We and our desert were blessed by their presence. I am sure that the birds are singing more joyously and the saguaro and other cactii benefited from the energy they brought to our 2 1/2 acres of magnificent Sonoran desert. How blessed we all were. This guest "speaks the truth." He "guested" with us in The Casita, our 1,400 s.f. "stand-alone" home located on our 2 1/2 acres of Sonoran Desert. We live on the north side of the property - close yet distant enough for privacy. We are onsite - available to deal with anything that might arise; including chatting and sharing our knowledge and wisdom of the property, the desert, the community and its restaurants, shopping, entertainment, sports activities and so forth. Prior guests from many areas of the world remain friends, and often return year-after-year; extolling the peacefulness and tranquility which should be a sign of a "true holiday." Jerome
