Nice condo but...hot
This review may only apply to summer rentals and largely relates to the building and not necessarily the condo...but the condo is in the building.
The condo itself was nice. Well appointed and as advertised. I would have given the condo itself 5 stars and it probably works great as a winter/ski condo. The problem is that there is no air conditioning and only 1 (of 3) windows in the BRs opens...even with ceiling and floor fans running 24hr/day, there is poor air circulation. Despite dropping into the 50s at night and windows open, the condo never fell below the high 70s (I'm guessing at the exact temp...it was very warm to sleep).
The hallways and main areas of the building have A/C and most folks leave the main entry door to the condo open during the daytime trying to blow cool A/C into the hot stuffy condo.
A secondary issue that arose because of the open windows was pool noise. The condo looks out over the pool area on the second level of the building, and the noise from the pool carries into the condo. The pool has "quiet hours" after 10pm although they are not enforced.
We put our kids to bed well before 10pm, and they had trouble sleeping because of lack of A/C and noise.
