Our family of 5 loved our stay. The house is very well equipped with kitchen supplies and a large laundry drying rack. The new renovations made for a very spacious stay and we loved being close to beaches and only a short drive from Cork or Waterford. Plus the host is easy to communicate with in a timely fashion. Thank you!

Waterford

The property was great! We didnt need for anything. The welcome bread and chocolates' were a nice surprise. We had a little trouble with directions to find the cottage, but we made it after a few wrong turns.

Summer 2024 in Ballintlea

Lovely rural location , property very well equipped especially in Kitchen and utility room Interaction with local representatives of owner very good and helpful. Main Bathroom very serviceable, but shower cubical could do with refresh Overall a great stay

Great, quiet location.

We all loved our stay at this bungalow. Nice and quiet. Great outdoor space for kids to run around in. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice comfy beds. Lovely walk to a secluded beach. Nice trips into Dungarvon. All round great short break for all of us. Thank you. Would recommend.

Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The house was large and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and having access to laundry was very helpful. The 2 electric fireplaces added warmth on a few rainy, damp days. We enjoyed the board games with our children. The WiFi worked well when we needed to be connected. One area that could use improvement is the shower. The water pressure was not great, the drain was not working well (even a quick rinse resulted in standing in dirty water) and the shower could use a bit of updating.

We appreciate knowing about shower drain and have fixed it. We have never had complaints about the shower in the past. It delivers unlimited hot water with good pressure but, being American too, we know that water pressure is generally stronger in American showers which could have been the reason for this concern.

Wonderful relaxing stay

This house is located on a quiet country side. The surrounding and the house is peaceful and relaxing. The beds are comfortable. We all had our best sleep there. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. We go to the grocery stores at nearby towns and cooked dinners at the house. The house location is convenient to access the local beaches with drive. We also visited Lismore castle; Tramore beach, Cobh, Cork, and Kinsale while stay at this house. The drive along the coast line toward the Tramore beach (Newton Cove) was breathtaking. The hosts, Katy and Todd, were responsive and friendly. If we came back to visit the county Waterford, we would love to stay at this house again.
