Luxurious Spa Suite with Jacuzzi, Outdoor Sauna, Plunge Pool and Steam-bath

Relax at this serene and tranquil getaway just two miles from downtown Durham. Rejuvenate with some hydrotherapy in this suite with separate entrance with spa featuring a steam bath with aromatherapy, jacuzzi, sauna, plunge pool and massage chair. Prepare a scrumptious meal over either a charcoal or gas-fired barbecue or light the outdoor fire pit and cook your own woodfired pizza in our pizza oven using fresh herbs from the herb garden. For dessert we provide to with a s’more’s table-top fire bowl. Listen to the waterfall and watch the hummingbirds feed as you lounge on the patio or enjoy your gourmet coffee or tea (provided) on your private deck. Note the suite has a separate entrance but is attached to a house.

While the interior space is limited, it is super clean and well-stocked. The hot tub, outdoor sauna, and indoor steam shower are awesome, and it was so peaceful to spend time in the hot tub with the snow coming down. Hosts were great, very accommodating and communicative. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.

Amenities were superb and very clean! We were only able to use the outdoor hot tub and fire pit on our first night in this lovely wooded setting because of the pouring rain the following day. However because of the beautiful steam shower, the relaxing massage chair, and comfy bed, we were able to still enjoy a full spa experience despite the weather! Highly recommended!

Such a gorgeous location. I’m always skeptical with places like this but the setup which Bridgette and the team have made here is absolutely phenomenal. The weekend was so relaxing with the sauna, steam shower, hot tub and ice bath. The hosts filled the ice bath up with fresh ice at a moment’s notice so it was always a low temperature when we needed it. The area was so quiet and peaceful but also a 10min drive to Durham and 20-mins to Portsmouth so couldn’t have beeen better location-wise. Thank you again for a brilliant stay, I hope to be back in the wintertime!!

The property was very nice. Accommodations were very clean. The listing states it’s a 2 bedroom rental, but we only had access to one. The listing also mentions a kitchen, but this was an outdoor kitchen. Not what we expected. There were not enough towels for 2 people for a whole weeks stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and massage chair. The area with things to do were great!

An Absolute Dream

This property is exactly as described! It was so relaxing. We used all of the amenities- cold plunge, sauna, hot tub, steam shower, massage chair! Everything was setup beautifully, with such wonderful attention to detail. We cooked dinner in the outdoor kitchen, which was stocked with everything we needed to make our meal. I couldn’t be more thankful for the 3 days we spent together.

Private spa getaway

We had a great time staying here with all of the spa amenities. Massage chair is very nice, hot tub, cold plunge and sauna were a great. King bed was comfy and shower was very nice. Heated bathroom floor is awesome. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Typically we look for more private stays but this was definitely worth the change up.

Beautiful location

This property is lovely and in a very nice area of New Hampshire. The place opens up to a small spa like waiting room with a sofa and massage chair which leads to a door to the actual bedroom and bathroom, which is well appointed and comfortable. With this said, I would recommend this place to a couple not a family because of the setup. The room is attached to the owner's home and you will hear talking and footsteps and pass by their living area windows when going to and from your car. The hot tub is a great feature and was very nice to relax in. My husband and I have been using VRBO since 2010 and stay in at least 2 to 3 places a year. We tend to like more privacy and not share our space with others. But if you don't mind this type of set-up it is overall a nice place and the owner is responsive and friendly.

Just what needed

I came on a very hard weeks of work. This place was exactly what I needed. Serenity. Spa. Comfort hosts. Easy check in. I needed this place so much! Got stuck staying and working for a longer time than expected and I felt at home. The spa was amazing. Cold plunge was perfect temp! Loooove! Steam bath cleansed me. Ohh and the massage chair wow! I felt so rejuvinated with all the work stress around me. The rain fell the forest full of deer. Thank you so much!

Great stay!

We had a great stay here. The property and accommodations were excellent. Clean, quiet, and as comfortable as we could ask for. It is in a great location close to the University of NH (great to drive and walk through) and Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying here!

Host is very attentive and quick to respond. Our experience was as advertised and more. House was clean and all of the amenities offered were clean and sanitized as well. Even with an active 5 year old, home felt calm and relaxing. Will love to make this a yearly spot.

Quaint Semi-Private Retreat

The property is nestled back into the woods which provides a secluded feel. The only important thing I would tell future visitors is that the suite is directly attached to the owner's home and may not provide the privacy expected. The amenities (sauna, hot tub, plunge pool, fire, and outdoor cook area) are all on a patio that is shared/adjacent to the owner's home. That being said, my partner and I still had a wonderful stay. The owner Brigitte welcomed us and showed us all the amenities and was available to answer any questions we had. The suite itself was very well set up for the "spa" feel. There is a minifridge and microwave, but if you want to cook anything you'd have to use the firepit or outdoor kitchen. It was rainy the weekend we went so we ended up eating out more instead. We found a few local shops, restaurants, and a cat cafe that we really liked. There is also a trail nearby within walking distance. I do highly recommend this location if you are looking for a nice place away from home to spend time with your partner.

Paradise!

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was restful and serene. Brigitte has thought of everything to make this space like a spa getaway. We had our 2 sons with us (8 & 5), and they loved waking up and going in the hot tub and plunge pool! The outdoor kitchen and firepit were also so nice to have! Relaxing retreat

Very relaxing and welcoming. We needed a weekend away to ourselves and the amenities here helped us be connected and relaxed. Great location with lots of amenities close by, and close to Portsmouth for dining and shopping. Thank you so much for having us!
