Beautiful log home with direct access to thousands of acres of the Black Hills National Forest Service trails. Plenty of trailer parking. Centrally located 10 miles from historic Deadwood and just minutes from the Steel Wheel convenience store. It is a short driving distance to the Black Hills attractions including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial , Custer State Park, Sturgis, Rapid City, & Wonderland Cave.

Beautiful home. Enjoyed the privacy in the wooded area. Loved the fire pit, we enjoyed making s’mores every night. Cooked on the grill daily and enjoyed sitting on the covered porch. Highly recommend this place.

Family Vacation

Cabin was beautiful. Property was great. Would have liked to have the outside deck cleaned prior to arrival as there were a lot of spiderwebs and we planned on eating outside mostly. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best places I’ve stayed by far

Sturgis motorcycle trip. Perfect location on Nemo rd. Everyone loved this spot. Garage fit 6 bikes with plenty of room. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Wonderful Cabin!

We loved this Cabin for our Family get together. It was beautiful, spacious, so peaceful, very roomy and had everything we needed. Contact with owners if we had questions was just minutes with the answer. We look forward to renting this beautiful cabin again. Thank You

Nana and Papa's 50th Anniversary Celebration

Excellent choice for a large group

We loved our stay at this beautiful log cabin. It is well suited for a larger group gathering with three levels offering bedrooms and bathrooms on each level for some added privacy. High-end appliances and everything you need in the kitchen along with plenty of towels and two sets of washer/dryers. Sipping coffee on the deck watching the deer in the mornings was a great way to start each day. The location is ideal - short drives to Deadwood, Hill City (Alpine Inn restaurant is fantastic), and Rapid City. We look forward to coming back for another stay!

BEAUTIFUL!

This cabin is pristine and filled with everything you could ever need as well as custom linens and towels! Absolutely wonderful! We did have a hard time finding it! Using both Maps and another app brought us to the wrong location. Ended up finding it by just using the address. Overall a 5 star stay!

Wonderful log home

This house was clean, well furnished and in a great location on the edge of the national forest. There's another house on the property, but otherwise you can't see any neighbors. Everything we needed was provided. Don and Nancy were very nice and their communication was great. Staying in a log cabin on the in the forest was perfect for our first trio to South Dakota.

Relaxing

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting but easy to get to. Location was in the middle of seeing several sites in South Dakota. Was stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space for the entire family. So quiet at night. Enjoyed building a fire at night and making smores while the deer roamed guietly around us. Wild turkeys greeted us in the morning. Owners easy to reach and promptly answered any questions. Made for a great family getaway!

Beautiful Log Home in a Forest

Beautiful and comfortable log home. Perfect for large groups. Nice beds, new appliances and lovely outdoor setting for meals overlooking a beautiful forest. Birds and deer visited us in the mornings. Staircases had child safety gates. Game boards available. Large indoor garage. Nancy was very responsible and kind. It was a pleasure communicating with her. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable

The pictures in the ad didn't do it justice. The area is quiet, beautiful, the cabin is gorgeous. We especially enjoyed seeing the deer and other wildlife from the comfort of the cabin. Property managers are very helpful and accommodating when it came to our needs. We especially appreciate your bringing the baby gates for the stairways when we requested them. The location is perfect to enjoy all of the attractions nearby. We never had to drive more than 40 minutes to get to all the places we wanted to go. Our son-in-law's first reaction was "can we book this place every year?" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would enthusiastically recommend the cabin for anyone who wants to get away with family and friends.
