Beautiful with a few homey problems

Location is great as always. This is my 3rd tkme at this location. There were a few issues such as the wifi not working at all. Improper drainage of the shower, and ants in the house. AC in bedroom didnt work. The wifi was a problem at our stay last year as well. Recomend taking the house off the listing for a few days to have some of these repairs made. Then tbis house would be the perfect stay!

The cabin is a gorgeous historical log cabin with additions. Upscale rustic. Gorgeous views and very peaceful. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Time on the ranch

If you are looking for a remote quite place to get away this is it. Beautiful and quiet..great place to relax and unwind.

Relaxing weekend with friends.

It was a great time. This is the second time i have stayed at this property and it is the best place to relax and unwind from busy work seasons. It was incredibly clean. We had our 9 month old son with us and we were able to let him crawl around right when we got there with no worry of him getting into anything he shouldnt. Only down side was the wifi password listed on the website was incorrect and i didnt get a response from the host for the correct one. But that is a very minor detail. We enjoyed ourselves just fine with card games, grilling and hiking the property. I will definitely be making this a common vacation spot for my family.

Better than expected!

Usually it's hard to judge a place by the online photos but we were pleasantly surprised that this house was just as cute as the photos and roomier than expected! Wish we would have stayed longer---so comfortable and cozy, beautiful remote farm location---hope to be back soon!

The cottage is just amazing inside it has the farmhouse look super clean and the out side even better the fire pit.We loved it we ill be back again for sure

Just right

Only one issue overall and really no big deal for our party, a dad and 2 teenage boys. The dirty bedding and towels were never picked up by cleaning service from previous guests. Beds were changed and house was tidy, it did leave only a few towels but we reused. We absolutely loved and enjoyed the space and outdoors !!!!!!!

Perfection!

The best VRBO rental yet! The owners put such great attention to the smallest of details! I just found out my sister has terminal cancer & I had my daughter & my niece my sisters granddaughter with me & what a healing time at a magical remote place! It brought us together closer than ever before & more ready to face what’s coming in the future.& back to nature with the girls feeding the horse & mule carrots, burning a fire in the fire pit & roasting hot dogs & s’mores. God Bless the owners & their beautiful home!

Best Unplugged Family Getaway

This property had everything our family needed to feel unplugged and away from it all for our 4 day stay! The two 7-year old boys loved giant Jenga on the back deck and exploring the creek. The "big kids" loved the pool table, the great seating inside and out, and the jigsaw puzzle. The hosts thought of absolutely everything...we can't wait to visit again!

Darling cabin in a rural setting! Perfect getaway cabin. Breathtaking views with a beautiful log home. Decorated beautifully and many games and fun activities. Pool table! Large deck! Claw foot tub!! It goes on! Such a great find!!

Adorable cabin in the country

Very peaceful and relaxing. My daughter loved being able to feed the horses. Will definitely be back for a visit and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for an adorable cabin in the country!

The perfect escape to rest and recharge!

We had a lovely long weekend here with our adult kiddos, and it was just what we needed! Beautiful property, great location in the middle of nowhere. Perfectly upgraded cabin with tons of the old still shining through perfectly! It's about an hour east of Springfield, two hours west of St Louis (which we did travel to on Saturday for the Arch and a Cardinals game). Open and welcoming, lots of seating areas. The horses were sweet, the creek was lovely, plenty of room to play on gorgeous thick grass. We would definitely stay again!!

Brother's Bachelor Weekend

Our youngest brother is getting married in two weeks. All five of us brothers stayed for the weekend. We cooked some good food and played pool & ping pong. We checked out the horses and fed them some carrots. We played cornhole outside and sat by a fire after dark. Perfect getaway and away from all the business of our normal lives. Fantastic place!

Home on the Range

Beautiful ranch setting. Peaceful and clean. We checked out the creek, took an excersion over the hills. Hope you all enjoy it the way us 3 women did. We can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer.
