We aim to offer our guests a comfortable and memorable stay.

The space

Double Bedroom
One double bedroom with a built-in mirrored wardrobe (with plenty of clothes hangers), a lovely comfortable double bed with bedding, pillows, some cushions and a throw, two bedside drawers and a set of three-drawers. Bath and hand towels will be kept in the wardrobe for your use.

Living room
A spacious room offering comfort and style with an occasional sunset view.

If you like an eclectic-feel then you'll love this room. We've collected some lovely pieces of mid-century furniture mixed with some modern interiors.

A dining drop-leaf table with washable tablecloth. The table folds out to double the size. Two fold away chairs with cushions.

A leather sofa and foot stool for lounging, a lovely mid-century-style reading chair, coffee table on wheels, nest of tables and side unit which has various books, playing cards and some other nicnacs. A large 42" inch tv which offers free view.

Kitchen
A galley-style kitchen offering everything you need for cooking or making a cuppa.

Appliances available in the kitchen
A gas cooker with oven, washer/dryer, dish washer, fridge with separate freezer compartment, kettle, 4-way toaster, a wee smoothie blender, microwave, all crockery, cutlery, utensils, chopping boards along with salt and pepper and tea, sugar and coffee.

Bathroom
A compact bathroom with gas mains powered shower over bath. A large wall mounted mirror, some glass shelving and a bin. Toilet roll and soap will be available.

Storage
We have a lot of storage available. One large cupboard for hanging jackets, umbrellas, bags etc. There is also a small utility room which will have an ironing board with iron, mop/bucket, dust pan and brush, and some shelving. The gas boiler is also located in this room.

There is also shoe storage near the front door. We do ask that any dirty shoes are left outside if wet; or cleaned outside and brought in and put in the shoe storage or in the hallway cupboard or in the shoe storage behind the front door. Most of the carpets are newly fitted so we are trying to avoid getting them too dirty :-)

Guest access
Due to COVID restrictions, the keys will be left in the key safe for guests to check in and out a they please.

Great Location for Towns and Country!
This cosy flat is ideal for two. The living room is nicely designed with various unexpected artefacts! The kitchen contains just about every piece of equipment a chef might require. The bedroom is modern and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is small but fully functional with bath/shower. The garden entrance area stands back from the street contributing to the quiet surroundings with parking. Do read up on the interesting history of Wormit. The infrastructure enables exploring north, south, east and west. Aberdeen is an hour away north by car. Dundee with its railway station, is just across the Tay, even do-able on foot! Edinburgh Airport is only an hour south through Fife, and St. Andrews is close by on the way. From Dundee or Perth you gain access to the magnificent Highlands in the northwest. Your host, Nykky, is easily accessible should you have extra needs or questions. Janet in October 2022

We wanted to get away from the city and this was a perfect retreat. Everything was set up for us, the local chippy (the Fifie) was the best we have ever tasted, and the local walks were lovely. The proprietor was responsive when we needed something and unobtrusive when we didn’t. Two local grocery stores are within walking distance. And I don’t know how they managed to have perfect weather for us, but they did that too.

This particular property I own, so I have put a lot of heart and my own style into it. I also live local, two minutes from the apartment so am always on hand to help out, should you need me.

My office (iLet Property Services) is also located on the high street, close-by to the apartment.

A unique and comfortable one bed property which is suited to guests travelling for fun or work, or both!
A quiet apartment, set in a popular area, close to Dundee and St Andrews Golf Club. You would pay 10 times more per night for a property in this condition in St Andrews, so why not sample what Newport on Tay has to offer, you may find some lovely little gems such as pebble beaches, eateries offering magnificent river views and the best fish n chips at the Fifie! . . explore the Fife Coastal path or simply drive for 15 minutes to the infamous St Andrews Golf Club or the beautiful V&A Museum in Dundee (which is 10 minutes by car), of if you're brave enough, walk the bridge.

I have styled the apartment to offer a home from home experience.
If you like an eclectic-feel then you'll love this space. I've collected some lovely pieces of mid-century furniture and mixed with some modern interiors; from the comfortable double bed and leather sofa, to the dining drop-leaf table with washable tablecloth, I have tried to put myself in the guests shoes and believe I have fully equipped the apartment to suit anyone travelling for leisure or business.
I travel a lot and always stay in airbnbs so I have a good idea what's needed when you travel.
If you want extra guests staying for a night or two, there is also a single fold-away bed available complete with bedding and pillows.
