Welcome to our spacious cottage nestled in the wildflowers and lush woods. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath retreat is located next to the trickling sounds of our own forest creek on 4 acres, near the Green Lane Park in Montgomery County PA, in sight of the Perkiomen Creek, Biking and Nature Trails for biking, hiking or paddling (or in Winter cross country skiing). Being here sooths the mind, in the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, yet it was completely renovated in 2022 and has new modern comforts. Perfect location for study, relaxation, recreation, or remote work. Secluded yet not remote, this is your retreat from the city and urban claustrophobia to this quiet natural spot with so many bird songs and wildlife. The house makes a great spot to stop while hiking or biking the trails, or for relaxation and or a central point for small family gatherings, or to visit the Philadelphia area.

Lovely quiet vacation corner

Cozy and Relaxing

My family stayed here for the weekend. The outdoors environment makes you feel like you are all alone with nothing but nature. The kids loved being outside. The inside is roomy and very cozy. Lots of areas to sit and relax. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Would easily stay here again.

Excellent place

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet wooded property & the inviting home, which was well-furnished, tastefully decorated & very clean. Our host was so welcoming & his goal to provide us an excellent stay there was clearly met. He provided some toys for our two grandkids (who can resist a playmat & cars or art supplies?). Treats in the cupboard, chilled water in the frig, new linens & kitchen items etc., everything made us feel well taken care of. Certainly a place we'd choose to come back to.

Perfect!

Our time at this beautiful, peaceful house in the woods was perfect for our family. The home is spacious, clean and perfect for family gatherings. There are several outdoor gathering spaces and a spacious yard for playing games or just watching lightening bugs and butterflies. Just beautiful. Many thanks to the owners who have thought of everything. They are clearly committed to making sure their guests are comfortable. We will most definitely be back!

Light filled, modern, clean, and comfortable cottage in nature

We stayed here for 3 nights and everything from the beds to temperature control to amenities were top notch. The owner was super helpful and provided everything one could think of and the place was spotless and recently updated. He also organized for us to have a way to charge our EV, which made the trip super relaxing as there was zero range anxiety! The surroundings are serene and lots of beautiful flowers and birds to look at through the nice,, big windows. My husband used the bikes and enjoyed a ride on the nearby trail as well! Highly recommend and we hope to be back next year when we have an annual family event in the area.

Perfect for peace and quiet

Great property in serene setting. Everything you need to connect with nature was ready - bicycles, fire pit, multiple decks and sliders. Host was great. Booklet at property explained everything and host had fresh flowers waiting. Was told to treat it like my own home and we did. Friidge had cold water, freezer had ice, and cupboards had snacks waiting. Easy process. Safe. Clean.

Home away from home!

The house was super clean and comfortable. There is a lot of privacy.There is a lot of space; the yard is large, landscaped, and quiet. Saw a couple deer. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and the regular beds were good. The amenities were great. The host was kind enough to leave some waters in the fridge for us, the Keurig and tea pot thing were nice, towels were clean and plentiful, and he even left some fresh cut coleus in a vase. We liked the disposable slippers so we didn't track leaves and mud through the house; it rained heavily during our stay. The A/C worked great too. The outdoor spaces are ample for hosting a gathering. Communication with the host was easy, he gave detailed instructions, was prompt to reply, and checked on us to make sure we were settling in well. Will definitely try to stay here again the next time we're in the area!

Quiet sanctuary, All inclusive

We LOVED this beautiful home as a retreat during our visit to spend time with family (in a neighboring town). This proved to be a calming, comfortable sanctuary where we could unwind from long days with extended family. The place is huge, with plenty of space for everyone to have their separate rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of equipment AND food staples! We could have definitely cooked anything we wanted here. The outdoor spaces are well stocked with grilling equipment, outdoor eating/seating, and firepit with lots of firewood. This place would work great for 2 families with little children because the beautiful finished basement could be another place for adults + young children and could accommodate separate napping spaces where the rest of the house could still buzz along. Laundry is easy to get to and a wonderful perk of this place. Several bikes were accessible and there for us to use (although we brought our own) and the trails are super close and fabulous. Wildflowers grace the surrounding hillside, where songbirds are plenty! Bats, turtles, fireflies & deer were some of the wildlife we encountered on our stay. Bathroom has plenty of towels. All in all, the host has GENEROUSLY stocked this place with housewares AND consumables as you would stock your own house, enough for many people. Bring a book, bring some grilling food, and plan to NOT want to leave! Howard welcomed us like family and he is a kindly soul! Can't wait to return!
