Snowline Community:
Snowline is a private gated mountain community bordering the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Guests love the peaceful wooded setting, walking trails, river access, playground, open green spaces, and close proximity to Mt. Baker Ski Area. The seasonal heated outdoor pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, depending on weather and HOA operations. Pool access may be subject to community rules, occupancy limits, and posted hours.
Good to Know:
This home is located in a mountain rainforest environment, which means weather, wildlife, and Wi Fi can all be part of the adventure. Please plan ahead for changing mountain conditions, especially in winter when all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is strongly recommended. Internet service in the Mt. Baker area is limited and may be slower or less consistent than urban service, so this home is best enjoyed as a place to reconnect, unwind, and settle into the mountains.
Large grocery runs are best done in Bellingham before heading up the mountain. Glacier has a small selection of local restaurants and shops, but hours can vary by season. We recommend arriving prepared so you can fully relax once you’re here.
Pack ’n plays and high chairs are available upon request.
The Neighborhood:
Snowline Community Club is one of Glacier’s most loved gated mountain communities and an ideal basecamp for exploring Mt. Baker, the North Cascades, and the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
Set along the border of the national forest, Snowline offers a peaceful, park like setting surrounded by towering evergreens and fresh mountain air. Guests enjoy access to community amenities including a seasonal outdoor heated pool, typically open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, plus a playground, open field, private walking paths, nature trails, and scenic river access areas.
Snowline is just minutes from hiking, biking, river rafting, fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, and some of the area’s most beautiful scenic drives. Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25 to 30 minutes away, with Artist Point, Heliotrope Ridge, and Skyline Divide nearby.
It is a quiet, family friendly mountain community with the perfect mix of privacy, nature, and easy access to year-round Mt. Baker adventure.

Other Things to Note:
**Other Things to Note**
**Technology, Wi-Fi & Cell Service**
As of 2025, our Mt. Baker-area homes now have high-speed fiber internet, making it easier for guests to work remotely, stream favorite shows, check in with work, or stay connected while enjoying a peaceful mountain getaway.
The home includes free Wi-Fi and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. Please note that streaming subscriptions are not included, so guests will need to log in with their own accounts.
Cell service can still be limited in Glacier and the surrounding mountain communities depending on your carrier, though some guests find service near the Mt. Baker Ski Area.
While fiber internet has greatly improved connectivity in the area, this is still a rural mountain community where service can occasionally be impacted by storms, power outages, falling trees, weather, or regional service interruptions. These circumstances are beyond our control, and we are unable to offer refunds or discounts due to Wi-Fi outages, speed, or service disruptions.
We recommend downloading your driving directions, check-in instructions, trail maps, and any must-have entertainment before arrival, just in case mountain weather or service interruptions decide to make an appearance.
**Mountain Living, Wildlife, Weather & Local Area Notes**
This home is located in a lush mountain rainforest near the base of Mt. Baker. One of the most beautiful parts of staying here is being surrounded by towering trees, fresh air, wildlife, changing weather, and nature in every direction.
Because this is a rural mountain environment, we share the area with forest critters both large and small. From ants and bats to mice, raccoons, bears, and bobcats, we do everything possible to keep nature outside where it belongs, but guests should expect that this is not a city setting. Please help us protect the home and local wildlife by keeping doors closed, storing food indoors, and never leaving food, coolers, or garbage outside. To wildlife, anything left outside can look like a free meal.
The mountains offer incredible beauty in every season, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please come prepared for changing conditions, including warm summer days, heavy rain in the spring and fall, and snow, ice, and freezing temperatures in the winter. During the winter months, we strongly recommend bringing a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle, as snow and ice can make mountain roads, neighborhood roads, and driveways challenging.
Power outages and regional service interruptions can happen from time to time due to storms, snow, wind, falling trees, or other mountain conditions. These situations are outside of our control, and we do not offer refunds or discounts for loss of power, internet, or weather-related conditions.
We also recommend arriving prepared with groceries and provisions. Large grocery runs are best done in Bellingham before heading up the mountain, about 45 minutes away. There are a few small, locally owned markets and grocery stops along Mt. Baker Highway, and restaurants in the Glacier and Mt. Baker area are limited, with seasonal hours that may vary during slower times of year.
Come prepared, settle in, and enjoy the slower pace of mountain life.
