Exceptionally clean and cozy cabin! We loved the close proximity to all the small towns surrounding the cabin! Love driving the country roads as well as the more exciting mountain curves to Blairsville and Helen!

Beautiful location. Just as described. We enjoyed fishing and tubing in the river. Visited the nearby wineries and went to downtown Dahlonaga. Would love to visit again!

The property is beautiful! Right on the river!! Very private, but close enough to town for shopping or other outings. The owners are very hospitable and easy to reach if needed.

Everything we needed was in the cabin. We enjoyed the outdoor firepits almost every night. The property is beautiful and our dog enjoyed the freedom of running around the expansive yard.

I have never stayed at an overnight or 4 days and was expected to laundry the bed sheets. Also, I expected to carry the trash to the basement . The driveway was so terrible I could only travel 6 mph. A few times I thought I would fall off into a washed out ditchThe traffic noise of passing vehicles went on all night. The main bedroom was arranged over the basement and the furnace was a constant roar.The cottage was needing some overlooked repairs. Upon leaving the owner expected a text be sent to him. Maybe they wanted to know that I checked out by 11:00am.Check in was 4:00pm.or later. I was not happy. I wanted to relax and escape the noise of the big city. Never knew I was expected to be their house cleanerI never refer friends nor family to spend any time at this cottage. I

Wow! We have 292 5-star reviews. Don't let this one scare you off. Please read the others. We had a feeling we were going to have trouble making this guy happy. He needed help making the booking, making payment, and driving directions (he doesn't use GPS). As for his complaints...Yes, we ask guests to strip the beds and start a load of wash as they check out. This is a common practice at VRBOs. It helps the maids get their work done in a timely manner. It is also common practice to ask guests to put trash in the trash can. We have a gravel driveway with berms which direct water into a ditch. much like speed bumps, they encourage a slow speed. This driveway is safe for any and every make of automobile. You cannot see the county road from the cottage. We have slept there many times and have never been bothered by noise. Our furnace is a standard heat pump. We have never heard it roar or make any other noise. We know of nothing that is in need of repair. Check- in is at 4:00. Whenever possible we offer early check-in at no charge. This guest was invited to come at noon if he liked. Check out is at 11;00. We ask guests to notify us if they leave early so the cleaning crew can get an early start. We take great pride in this sweet little cottage on the river and are very hurt by this unfair review. Many of our guests come several times every year. Please see what they have to say.

Very convient location and nice river front property We enjoyed the fire pits as we brought an extra tv to watch the football games by a warm fire. Did a couple cold plunges in the Chestatee river which was refreshing.

Very clean and neat! Easy arrival instructions. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable (soft sheets!) The setting by the river was so pretty. Great location for hiking and going to towns and wineries. Would stay here again!
