Unlike some other platforms, Vrbo does not automatically send access codes, and in this case, the delay was my oversight. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, and I have corrected my process to ensure it does not happen again. Regarding trash disposal, there is a large exterior trash bin located directly outside the rental for guest use. While many guests find this straightforward, we will make this information clearer in our house guide to avoid any uncertainty. Concerning package deliveries, the rental does not have its own mailing address, so all packages are delivered to the main house. This was communicated in advance, and you were given the option to pick them up at any time or wait for us to bring them to you. You chose to wait and messaged that there was “no rush” and that you only needed them by the following day. All four packages were delivered within that timeframe. Regarding the wall damage, the repair cost was $150, not $300 as stated in the review. Even small dents require proper patching and repainting to restore the wall to its original condition. The charge reflected the actual repair expense and was processed through the platform accordingly. The dogs mentioned are part of the surrounding rural property and are generally friendly, but we understand how their presence during arrival could feel uncomfortable and will be mindful of that during guest check-ins.
