An island day tour is included for stays 5 nights or longer.

Villa Agalitsa ("hug," in Greek), is just 250 meters away from Santorini’s famous Caldera view and is located in the very picturesque traditional village of Megalochori.

Within walking distance there is the picturesque village square with restaurants, tavernas, cafes and shops along the cobblestone streets that sell local wares. Complimentary breakfast is provided at a nearby restaurant in the village (1 minute walking distance) for stays 3+ nights.

The villa has a private garden courtyard and fully-equipped kitchens.

Perfect for families, small groups and long stays, the villa situates you in the bougainvillea-draped village of Megalochori, along the caldera and a local hiking trail, while also offering ample opportunity to soak in the Greek sun from the confines of your own Mediterranean paradise.

The villa also offers a nearby spa and wellness retreats with massage therapy, meditation and yoga.

It was a unique experience however due to the construct of the cave it tends to be quite damp and humid. There needs to be better air circulation.

After traveling to many places in the world, I came to Greece as a tourist from New York City in 2014 and completely fell in love with the beautiful island of Santorini. As an avid traveler, I am excited to be part of the Airbnb community and to share my home with you.

My villa is located in the central area of Santorini, in the traditional village of Megalochori. I really enjoy sharing all of my favorite places to go and things to do to and see in the village and in Santorini.

In addition to recommending the best of what Santorini has to offer, I am happy to help you with arranging a car rental, car service and/or tours.

We chose to settle in the traditional village of Megalochori because of the enchanting, picturesque quality of the village. There is a warmth and culture here, especially in the charming village square (less than 1 minute walking distance from the villa) with restaurants, tavernas, cafes and shops along the cobblestone streets that sell local wares. The village is also great because of its centrality on the island where it is easily accessible from all points. The villa is in a wonderful location as it is on a hiking path that continues from the caldera volcano cliff, through the village square and then through the vast centuries-old vineyards.
