The Cokers

Hochatown is one of our favorite getaway locations! The cabin was perfect for two people, it was well equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I still remembering the comfortable bed with very luxe sheets! There was nothing more to wish for than more time to stay!! We’ll be back!!

Great cabin, very firm bed!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. Easy location to find, very spacious and clean, and a wonderful deck! The only negative for us was the very firm bed. It’s a personal preference, but both of us woke up with lots of back pain after the first night. We ran down to Walmart and bought a king-sized mattress topper to remedy the bed situation. All-in-all a great trip!

July 4th Getaway

Boulder Creek is a lovely place to stay. The back deck is very spacious, has several wonderful seating options and is simply beautiful. The cabin is very well stocked for cooking...and relaxation. Can't wait to visit again!

Unexpected problems with the A/C & Neighbors

We enjoyed our stay up until the last night , the A/C started not working and would completely shut off without any reasoning . I contacted the property manager when it started and kept her updated constantly. I understand that this was a Friday Night but the temperature was 75* with a humidity of 84% . Was advised they were going to send their handy man out to suck out the lines but was confused because it was a standard unit not a mini split anyway at this point it was 10pm and no one had arrived so we actually packed up cleaned the house per owner requests and left ! Owner/manager was informed but never once apologized for the inconvenience of the situation nor as of now the following day at 4pm ever reached out with any attempt to acknowledge the issue and our frustration of needing to leave to be comfortable Also —— this is in a very close tightly packed residential area and we had to listen all afternoon on Friday to a very load and rambunctious bunch of young men having a party , while we are always asked to keep the noise down to make it hospitable for all neighbors

Perfect cabin for a romantic get-away

What a great place: quiet, great views, nice kitchen, beautiful bath/shower, nice hot-tub on the deck, very new and comfortable bed and furniture. Also, great spot for an evening walk (as long as you don't mind hills). About 15 minutes to nice hiking at Beavers Bend and Stevens Gap. We'll be back.

Getaway

We decided for our 19th anniversary to plan a short getaway and this cabin was perfect!! The bathroom was amazing!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We will definitely stay again. Next time we would like to book in the fall/winter so we could enjoy the hot tub more. It was just too hot outside to enjoy it for us.
