At the Center of it All!

We and my Brothers were down in Galveston for the first time for Mustang Week. This place is clean, comfortable. It is at the center of all things Galveston. Walking distance Beaches, Grocery Stores, Dining. I would definitely stay again. The owners are fantastic with communication and updates.

Weekend in galveston

The house was as presented in the kisting. Clean and comfortable. Owner resolved internet outage very quickly and was responsive and communicative. The stay was stocked well for our family and the weekend.

Ok close to all stores and restaurants

Had problems checking in, access code to front door didn't work, had to use the back door the whole stay, which came to be convient,because that's where the parkig is The only other thing is that the host doesn't offer a washer and dryer as one of the amenities

Solid Choice Close to Everything

The property was wonderful. Clean, neat, welcoming, and we loved the beach decor vibes. The property manager was quick to answer any questions. And the little amenities and attention to detail made this stay feel like a beach home style hotel suite. Comfy beds and the A/C worked great. My fiancé and her teenage children and I all slept great each night. I would stay here again with my family. Per the listing there is no washer and dryer. But Not a problem at all for a 3 day stay. Worth the price point for the comfort and hospitality.

Galveston Retreat

The home is very cozy and nicely decorated. The city caused a water leak and had to shut off the water for a short time (no fault of homeowners) and the homeowner was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. The issue was quickly resolved. The front yard had not been mowed recently so there were some tall weeds and the curtain holders in one bedroom were not secured well to the wall, but overall the property was very nice for our stay and it was centrally located to go out and do things. Thank you.

All in all

So I’ll start this by saying the house is not terrible and location was good. We are trying to tell ourselves a lot of the issues we had were due to being close to the water I’ll say beds were comfortable but the double door lnobs to open the door with kids and anything we brought back from our day out was a pain, upon opening the back door the smell of mildew and mold is extremely overwhelming. The fridge is so bad that we had to get rid of food because all you could taste was mildew, the shower is all mildew and mold along the bottom, there was potato bugs and roaches tv powers on in bedroom but fire stick didn’t work and the master bedroom door could not be closed all the way or it gets stuck the pots and pans as well as the cooking utensils were damaged and didn’t look clean. We appreciate having a place to stay while in town and all in all it wasn’t terrible we had a great vacation but just want to point some things out that are important

Close to UTMB Medical College.
