This 2bd/2bth home, with its large 1 ac lot, is located at the entrance to George T. Bagby State Park, which is only 1/2 mile from the boat landing. So whether you like fishing, swimming, biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, or boating, this location gives you easy access to all of the outdoor activities that George T. Bagby State Park and Lake Eufaula have to offer!

If you enjoy exercise, there is a 3 mile paved walking/bike path, just a few hundred feet away from the Time Out Retreat, that runs between two parks which are both located on Lake Eufaula.

After you finish your morning walk, you may enjoy a game of tennis or a round of golf, both of which are available at George Bagby State Park. Other outdoor activities include wildlife viewing, hiking in Providence Canyon State Park, or a visit to Kolomoki Mounds State Park.

Weekend getaway

Great place for a quiet relaxing time. The home was very clean and property well maintained. There is plenty too do at the home or close by lake .We will be planning another trip in the future.

Perfect location

Attended Thanksgiving family reunion with family members staying at George Bagby State Park cabins. This home was extremely clean, accommodating, and the location was perfect just inside the park enabling enjoying all the Park has to offer. The parking pass required in the Park was provided.

Great place close to Lake Eufuala!

This place was perfect! Great place to come back to after a long day of fishing on the lake. It was clean, had everything you could need to relax, and even a fire pit out back that my dad and I enjoyed after fishing. Met Robert and Cindy while we were there, extremely nice people and very helpful! This beats the heck out of a motel! 5 STARS

Wonderful Owners

We stayed for a fishing tournament. The owners were very helpful and responded promptly - you could tell they are good people. The property was as advertised - we enjoyed our stay. There was a carport to keep your boat, and accessible electricity to charge the boat. A lot of nature to enjoy. I would stay again.

Close to State Park

Property was clean, private and we had great comunication with owners. Not many places to eat nearby but rental had cooking equipment. Access to rental was easy and smooth. Would rent again. 2 bedroom 2 bath on opposite sides of home.

Peace at the Park

Location is right next to Bagby State Park and a Park Pass was provided with the rental. I used it to launch my boat at the park to pre-fish for a bass tournament which was very convenient. Most importantly, was the cleanliness of the property. It was very clean and comfortable. Communications with the owners was very timely and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Fishing trip

Great place to stay. Great price. 2 minutes from water. Place was extremely clean and in very good shape. No problems. We showed up early so they let us check in early. That wasn’t planned, it just worked out that way. Plenty of space to park. Big yard. Nice porches and outside space. Will definitely be back!!

Better than Bagby!

Home was clean and the AC was cranked up. Plenty of outdoor space. We have been staying at Bagby Lodge and The cabins for years. Recently we were in the group cabin with no water, outdated furniture, and unorganized kitchens. The staff is the best, however after experiencing how clean and fiendly the owners are I would rather stay with them.

FISH AND RELAXATION

My brother and I decided to get together for 2-3 days and reconnect since we don't live close to each other...and what better way than to do that by fishing. So..I brought my boat and met him and we were both delighted with the property. I certainly like how clean it was...the beds are great...and the porches are wonderful. I particularly like the front cover...the day it rained I was able to back my boat up under the cover and keep everything dry. When I go fishing at Lake Eufuala...I sure will use this place again.

Bassmaster Open Lake Eufaula

Robert & Cindy, I wanted to say Thank you for providing such a great place to stay at while I was fishing Lake Eufaula. The Commendations where very clean and cozy, the house had plenty of room to turn around my bass boat and was even able to pull under the car port to keep it dry. I was in need due to a broken-down boat and Robert jump to help me in getting my boat back to the home safely. Amazing people and a great place to stay if you want to get some relaxation and some awesome bass fishing. I will be returning!!! Thank you,
