We are Blue Tin Ranch, a hunting lodge in South East South Dakota. Located 10 minutes from I-29, 10 minutes from Vermillion, we enjoy the spectacular views of the Missouri River Valley.
You are booking our guest house, a quiet space for you and your family to relax, unwind and enjoy the countryside after a successful hunt. You will love the outdoor spaces including; the gazebo with a winding path, corn crib swings, back yard area and so much more. Great fishing on the Missouri River just 3 miles away. Lots of bugs, no refunds

Booked this for six nights but only stayed for one night due to finding bugs in every room. Spiders in the corners of both bedrooms, in the bathroom, and inside the foldout sofa bed. Ants in one of the beds, and an active ant trap by the front door. When we found a roach in the kitchen we decided to leave. We asked the property manager for a partial refund but were denied.Would not recommend.

Lovely owners and very cute location

Upon arrival the owner was out greeting us. She and her family were so personable and kind making the stay more memorable. The guest house was darling and had personal touches that didn’t go unnoticed. While the kids were not satisfied with the wifi, I was! Thank you for a wonderful stay and an incredible sunset!

Christmas at Blue Tin Ranch

Our stay was perfect! We celebrated Christmas there because my son and daughter-in-law from Sioux City are expecting. The house was decorated so cute! All the extra touches were appreciated and the host went above and beyond. Merry Christmas!

Beautiful place

Quiet and peaceful location with amazing grounds. The cottage is big! Plenty of space for my wife and I and our two labs. Highly recommend.

Quiet place in the country

My family and I had an awesome time staying here. There was enough room for my little kids to play and get energy out and my teens loved exploring all the buildings and they found a place they could just hang out. It was nice to not hear ‘I’m bored’ out of any of them! All four of the kids had a great time as well.

Your Hosts, Kelley and Noreen have lived on this property for more than 30 years. Noreen enjoys Agritourism and is an active participant in South Dakota Tourism! She currently sits on the board of the South East South Dakota Tourism Association. Noreen can recommend many fun things around the area.

After graduating from South Dakota State University in 2018 Kelley moved home to help with the family farm!

Kelley is a 4th generation farmer on this land and is proud to now share it with you and your family! In 1992, Kelley's grandpa sold the land to Noreen for $1. From there the farm has only grown.
