Welcome to Baked Alaska, a private room in a shared lodge offering hotel-like amenities. Enjoy wifi, cable TV, and streaming services in your comfortable queen bed with a forest view. The room features luxurious granite and stone finishes, including a custom-tiled shower and a granite vanity. Baked Alaska is on the second level of the property.

The lodge's common area is a grand masterpiece with exquisite craftsmanship and eclectic decor. Share the kitchen and bar seating area with fellow guests. The entire lodge is an artful showcase, reflecting owner Johney Engle's talent as a kitchen designer. His stone fabrication shop below operates Monday to Friday, creating some noise.
Situated near the Tongass National Forest, Auke Lake, Auke Bay, and the renowned Mendenhall Glacier, our lodge is the perfect base for an adventurous Juneau visit. Discover nearby trails, fishing spots, and exciting excursions at Statter Harbor in Auke Bay, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and whale watching. Johney is available to guide you in finding the experiences you desire.

Precision Lodge, where Baked Alaska is located, is a shared space with up to two additional rooms. The common kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, hot plate, microwave, and toaster oven. Rent fishing poles and bicycles on-site for convenient exploration.
Experience more than just accommodation—a stay at Precision Lodge is an immersive journey into art. Johney's unique three-dimensional assemblage-style creations and the captivating self-portraiture of Skylar Engle adorn the property. Feel inspired and thrilled as you create lasting memories.

Check in at your convenience using the provided lock box code. The standard check-in time is 4 pm, with a check-out time of 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out options may be available for a fee, subject to availability. Host Johney is on-site, ready to interact or respect your privacy. Kelli is easily reachable for assistance.
