"This cozy farmhouse is located on a beautiful 45+acre farm with horses, goats, sheep and cows. With 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, this country get-a-way is perfect for all occasions. Located just minutes from I-65 and is right in-between Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN. For tourism, we are located approximately 25 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park; 20 minutes from Barren River State Park; 40 minutes from National Corvette Museum; and 45 minutes from the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

Our trip to Horse Cave was lovely. The house was very clean upon arrival. There were so many little touches of home like seasoning, condiments, popcorn and packets of oatmeal. The host even left a container of treats for us to feed the beautiful horses. We’d love to come back again.

Very clean but the cleaning solution was very strong. There isn’t central air so one bedroom was so hot we couldn’t sleep in it. (Please note it was in the 90’s and muggy when we went.) Cute little house in an excellent location. It has everything you need and more. Seeing and feeding the horses was so relaxing. Most comfortable couch and loveseat I’ve ever sat on.

Lovely little house/cabin. We were gone a lot, but we were very comfortable in the house. The animals are great and feeding the horses was fun. We had a campfire one night which was great. Easy access to local attractions and amenities. We would definitely book again if we come back to the area.

We loved our stay at the farm! Crystal and Marty were so friendly and helpful. They built an entire deck while we were there which is a beautiful addition to the home! We broke it in with a dance party. We had 4 acults and 4 boys (1,3,4&6) and the rooms worked perfect for us. The home is cozy, had everything we needed and the yard/hose kept our kids busy and safe. The animals were fun to watch and visit with! The neighbors were friendly and even brought our kids some smashed pennies from the railroad tracks across the street. We would definitely come back if we ever visit Mammoth Caves again!!

House smelled like strong cleaning solution for several days. The bathroom had a different terrible smell on and off during our stay. We saw a roach in the bathroom and another in our bedroom. I did get a response right away from the host and she sent a maintenance man over that day. She said he sprayed for bugs and tried cleaning drains in bathroom. I did not rate the place too low but did want to point out what to expect. Crystal seemed as though she was wanting to please us.

This was our second stay here and we loved it just as much! Our kids loved the animals so much and it was just relaxing to sit outside at the farm! We will be back next year forsure. The communication with Crystal was awesome as well!

This place was perfect for our few days in Kentucky! It was clean, beautiful and the perfect location for us as we scheduled cave tours at Mammouth Cave National Park. Owner checked in to be sure everything was going ok and even let us know the night a mama goat had her babies so we could see them! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Perfect Place to Slow Down & Relax

This small home sits on a big beautiful piece of a KY animal farm! Very clean, comfy beds, reclining leather couch, nice shower, lots of towels, extra blankets, nice backyard area, the kitchen had plenty of dishes and the animals were a Huge plus!!

Great Location for a Visit to Mammoth Cave

We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time.

We had an awesome stay. Lots to do around the area. Owners has thought of everything in the house but grocery store right down the road plus restaurant if needed. Had not issues finding locations. Best place we have stayed at.

The property was conveniently located for our planned activities. It offered a pleasant view, and feeding the friendly horses was a delightful experience.However, there were a few inconveniences. There were hairs around and in the shower and on the backdoor mat. The outlets were sparse for our charging items and CPAP machine, which wasn’t a big deal for an older farm home, but it was inconvenient for us. As a guest, we had to take out the trash to the curb on their designated trash day. Unfortunately, the trash was already full and heavy from others, as we had only placed one bag in. This could make it challenging for those who can’t handle heavy bins.The shower drains slowly, resulting in standing water while showering.We also experienced a storm that knocked over a chair into the fire pit. We promptly replaced the chair the next morning and attempted to inform the owner about the incident, but we never received a response acknowledging it. I did try to contact her regarding other things, but didn’t get a response after a few times. Overall, it was a decent home, and it was nice to have the option of not going out to eat each meal. However, I’m not sure if it was worth the price.
