New to the rental market! Oceanfront 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse with extra lounging area/ family room. Complete with 2 ocean-view decks and a ground floor patio with an outdoor shower. PET-FRIENDLY with an additional fee.

Ground level: Extra lounging area/ family room, sleeper sofa. Separate access from the main house.
2nd floor: 2 bedrooms (one room has two queen beds and the other has a queen and a twin bed), full bathroom, oceanfront deck
3rd floor: Kitchen, dining area, family room, ½ bathroom, oceanfront deck, outdoor dining table and chairs

Great location and layout. Nice having the downstairs. The outside shower wasn't working and it was fixed promptly after I contacted the owner. They were very responsive. It does need some semi-major fix-ups but should be quick fixes.

Wonderful beach front stay in North Topsail

We had a wonderful stay at this property during Thanksgiving week. Clean and comfortable. Beach front and close to town. Hosts were very nice, helpful and easy to get ahold of. Would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you!

Perfect stay

I chose this spot so I could be on the beach as I went to the 40th Beirut ceremony in camp Lejeune. The upper deck was really nice and the glass made it easy to view the sea at all times. The house was very accommodating for everything I needed.

Wonderful!!

This is the second time we stayed at this wonderful beach house. Our stay in December 2023 was perfect! Hosts Ellen and Danny are simply the best! Communication was excellent, including offering us some gracious flexibility!! The house is spotless and wonderfully appointed with everything you could ever need. We enjoyed sunrises from the deck, seeing dolphins everyday, and playing ping-pong in the lower room! Such a great place to relax and get away with family. We’ll be back!

House was amazing. Spectacular views, very spacious and easy access right to the beach. Some notes, be mindful of stairs. We had parents with us and by the end of the stay they were a bit over all the steps but also a given for a beach home. 2-3rd level steps are VERY narrow and short. Be mindful when carrying up or down bags. We had a lot of rain beginning of the week. The condo provided one smart tv, lots of movies, and some games to play. Also be mindful it takes about 15 minutes to get to your nearest store. We didn’t check this but also wasn’t a total deal breaker. Just inconvenient if you forgot something lol. Beds, showers, chairs, kitchen all were great! We will be considering this place in the future!

Roaches everywhere! They were in the beds. It was awful.

Roaches in the beds, I reached out to Ellen Murphy and she advised she was sorry, they had the house treated inside and out the morning we checked in! REALLY, it would have been nice to know before I spent a small fortune on this vacation. We hadn’t been to the beach for 11 years and this was the WORST experience. The house was filthy, you have to take your own towels, and your locked out of the bathroom on the main level. Good luck if you decide to rent this one.

We have our property treated for the island's palmetto bug professionally on a monthly basis throughout the year. Unfortunately, we did not vet this guest properly and she had no other vacations on her VRBO account so we believe she might be in the business of black mailing hosts in order to get a refund of her vacation. Our cleaner has been cleaning on the island for many years and Anita left our home so filthy, we had to pay our cleaner extra since she had to spend the entire day cleaning up her mess. When I reached out to her about lost keys, she said if we didn't give her a refund, she would leave us a bad review. We are the type of hosts that let guests know they can reach out any time during their stay for any issues. Anita did not reach out once during her stay about cockroaches and could not provide photo evidence, so we did not feel that it was appropriate to refund her trip. Please do not let her review deter you from our home. Feel free to look at our reviews on Airbnb as well or reach out to us for any questions - we would be happy to answer them!

Relaxing & truly beach front

My family and I stayed here for a week in August. It was super easy checking in and communicating with Ellen. The place is RIGHT on the beach with the best balcony on the inlet. It's around 20 minutes from the "action"/restaurants, but it's in a more quiet and peaceful area. I definitely recommend staying here!

Home away from home

Ellen was wonderful to work with. She responded quickly to any questions I had. Everything we needed was supplied. The daughter & I loved the nearby Tiki Bar. Not too far away we found Lo-re-Lei Pub & Grill & would recommend a visit. In Surf City the husband & I had food & drinks at Buddy's Crab House & Oyster Bar, would also recommend! From the house, just a short 1 min walk to the bridge over the dunnes was perfect. Our 5 yr old is an early riser like his momma so we really enjoyed walking the beach in the mornings. Honestly though there were so few people it wasn't busy anytime of day. Long story somewhat short, we loved everything about the house, location & people & hope to stay here again when we can make it back to the area.

Town House in North Top Sail Island

Danny and Ellen were very helpful through out the rental process. The place was a great quiet location directly on beach. We loved the plexus glass balcony which you could see everything high and low without straining. Kitchen was well equipped. There are a lot of steps but it was all worthwhile for the view. Would definitely rent again. Thanks so much Danny and Ellen for renting your beautiful place and for being so responsive when questions arose.

Danny was stationed in Camp Lejeune when he served in the marines from 2009-2012 and every time family and friends came to visit, they would stay on North Topsail beach. Some of his fondest memories and happiest times have been spent on this beach and he wanted to share this "hidden gem" with his wife, Ellen, Marines and their families as well as any group of people looking for a special vacation right on a beautiful beach.
