Yeti Summit Studio 262 Whispering Pines

Yeti Summit is a separate unit directly behind the main house (Main House address is 258 the county just assigned the studio a new address of 262 Whispering pines). Located in the quiet Whispering Pines neighborhood. Located only two miles to town of Ouray. This beautiful unit provides a pristine setting with deck, hot tub, firepit, kitchenette, full bath and king bed. Enjoy your morning coffee or sun set glass of wine on the deck while listening to the rippling water of Corbett Creek. hike Dallas Trailhead short walk from the studio or bike/drive to the famous Ouray Hot Springs Pool.
Please note the kitchenet offers a hot plate and a confection/microwave oven, plates, compact refrigerator/freezer, compliment of kitchen utensils and cookware.
Parking is next to the unit and can support a 14-foot truck/trailer.
Electronic access code will be provided day of arrival.
Please contact your host "Mountain Adventure Retreats" first as the owners frequent their main house.

Gorgeous mountain retreat!

This property checked all the boxes for us! Small but nicely equipped. Wonderful views, hot tub and fire pit were perks. Close by to waterfalls, awesome hiking and mountain grandeur. Responsive property manager. Would come again!

Clean and Pristine!

We really enjoyed staying at the Yeti Summit Studio. We stayed for two nights. The bed was comfortable and we so loved having the hot tub. It was clean and well maintained. The space is a little tight inside but we really had perfect weather. We ate dinner outside, enjoyed the fire out and used the grill. The bed linens are new. We had all we needed to make a simple breakfast and dinner.

Tiny room

The location was excellent, very clean, host was available at any time, but the house was way too small to stay more than a night in it. No sitting area except on bed and no where to put clothes out of the way! Hot tub was nice, just the overall it was just to small with a large price!

Excellent property manager saves the day.

The original property we booked was exactly as described. Unfortunately, due to a double booking we were unable to stay there. Laura, the property manager, was able to get us into another property which was amazing!! Her attentiveness to our needs was above and beyond our expectations. Our anniversary weekend was more than we dreamed and memorable. Thanks Laura!

Honeymoon Get Away

The home is very clean and nicely decorated. The main house is right next door, which is not really included in the listing. There is no bathroom door. There are a lot of windows, which helps make it feel open. However it makes it very hot in the afternoon, even with the AC. There are also no coverings for the upper windows so there is a lot of light still when trying to go to sleep. There is also no closet/storage space. All your stuff is just sitting around. The property manager was great and it’s a cute place. Probably would not stay there again due to functionality and price.

Unexpected surprise

I had planned an anniversary trip for my husband and I in Ouray through this host, Laura. She was attentive and creative in helping me make the most out of this trip for us. However, she called me when we were on our way to Ouray, and there had been a heating issue with the house we had reserved. She had a solution though, and upgraded us for the night. We were very excited, me especially, since my husband knew nothing about the details of the trip. We got to the upgraded location and were blown away. It was certainly more than we needed, but we really appreciated her upgrading us. The next evening, we went to the house that I had originally paid for. We were only there for an hour before another couple pulled up saying they had also rented the house. I called Laura, and she sent us back to the same upgraded house for free, and refunded us for the trouble. She knew this weekend was supposed to be special for us, and she was very kind and accommodating to the fact that this did cause a wrinkle in our get away anniversary weekend. We were very surprised by her generosity and understanding. Though we had trouble, this host was incredible. We would absolutely recommend this host, and this location. Though we didn't get to stay here, it was enough for two people, secluded, and adorable. Perfect for a getaway weekend to unwind. 5 out of 5 stars.
