Summary:

The prettiest little beach house!



The Space:

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath house is centrally located on S Monkhouse Drive. You will fall in love with the views! Imagine sitting on the well-furnished deck for coffee, meals, or cocktails with the sound of the waves and the fresh salty breezes. When you are ready to head to the beach, it’s just a short walk or ride!



The open living area has seating for all and a flat-screen television with satellite TV. Preparing and serving meals is easy in this well stocked kitchen with separate dining table. Coffee lovers will appreciate having both a Keurig and drip coffee makers; and feel free to mix up some vacation margaritas in the blender! For your convenience, you'll find a washer and dryer on premises, and high speed internet.



With over 1100 square feet, La Casa Bonita easily accommodates 8. The first bedroom offers one queen bed, and the second has a twin over full bunk bed. The living room futon also provides extra room to sleep.



Under the house is the perfect shady spot to grill (bring your own charcoal) family meals that can be served while sitting around the picnic table. Downstairs is also fenced for the security of kids or pets. There is an outdoor shower and fish cleaning station. This rental has plenty of fenced parking and a large grassy yard. (But, please don't drive on the grass.)



Two small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Great property, not so great deal

This property is adorable and so close to the beach. Perfect space for our family of 4, and even had additional space if you had a few more in your crew. Walking distance to the beach, though we drove each time as it was easier to tote all the gear! But makes for great views! The part that was frustrating is that the listing says "no linens" - but they don't really explain that that means NOTHING. No sheets, towels, etc. (Also no toilet paper or paper towels - every other place we have stayed at least has a starter roll of each.) I got a call after booking asking if I wanted to pay $100 for linens. I agreed, as I did not want to make beds when we arrived with small children. However, it wasn't disclosed until they sent that conformation that beds wouldn't be made, and we missed that note. I wish it would have been mentioned when it was offered, as we found out at 9pm the first day thar they just plunk a couple of unmarked bags of saran wrapped linens on the porch. I would have just brought our own better quality linens. The AC broke the first full day, and maintenance was quick and luckily got it running within a few hours, which was great! Both were super friendly and helpful. Overall, great property, but likely would not stay again due to the mgt company.

Very nice

We had a wonderful time the camp was beautiful and clean and walking distance to the beach, Great! Wish the yard would have been mowed, but everything else was perfect! Thanks again for making our vacation worthwhile!

Nice Anniversary Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at La Casa Bonita. The living space is nice and comfortable. The bedrooms are okay, but rather small. The master bed is squeaky and not very comfortable. The outdoor spaces are nice & roomy. The downstairs outdoor sink wasn't working, but it was not a real issue for us. The location is close to the beach, but the street is quite busy, especially at night with a lot of cars, since it's a public access. But overall our stay was really nice for a short weekend stay. Thank you!
