Relaxing retreat within miles from various activities

Relax after an adventurous day either at Nolin River State Park (17 miles), Blue Holler (18 miles), Mammoth Cave (6 miles), or any of the locations within a short traveling distances.
The main level offers the open floor plan living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area. You can relax outside on the deck to the sounds of nature and surrounding peace. Main level includes one queen size bedroom, one full bedroom,
and a full bathroom. Upstairs includes 2 twin beds, 1 full, and 2 futons. Downstairs includes one king size bedroom with sitting area and fireplace and bathroom with shower. You can also end your day with shakes from the included shake machine or around the fire pit. Great place to make memories!!

Items to bring:
*Paper towels: 2 will be provided
*Toilet paper: 2 extra rolls will be provided in each. bathroom
*Dishwasher tablets: 2 tablets will be provided
*Trash bags: 2 extra trash bags will be provided
*Laundry detergent: Pods will be provided for 2 loads
*Cooking Spices: Some spices are provided, but you may have a preference
*Charcoal & Lighter Fluid, if you would like to use the grill.

*Set thermostat at 65 degrees during winter & 71 degrees during summer upon leaving
*Place all dirty towels and wash clothes in washer and start upon leaving
*Place all dirty dishes in dishwasher and start upon leaving

Perfect for large LS fest stay. Overall great stay. Peaceful space with plentiful room. Beds were not the most comfortable but very usable. Definitely would stay again.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Great kitchen/dining area for a family. Master bedroom in the basement is a bit rustic, with exposed plumbing.

Getaway

It was a lovely location. We were driving on a national park tour on our way to NC beaches and loved the house and the area. The price is amazing given how much everything has cost on this trip!

It was a great piece of property, excellently maintained. It had plenty of room for the kids to run around and play outside and was a very short drive to all the attractions that were around! Would stay again!

Peaceful country home centrally located

The property was as described, communication with the owner was excellent. Sleeping areas on 3 floors gave plenty of options and privacy. Location Location Location peaceful country with lots of wildlife. 20 min to the Mammoth cave visitors center.

Great place!

This was one of our absolute favorite vacations! The house is absolutely beautiful, we all fit comfortably! The yard and porch were so beautiful we got to spend a lot of time just relaxing and it was wonderful! Would definitely go back if we go back that way!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was very clean and just as lovely as what was pictured. Our questions were answered immediately. We loved being to spread out, the abilty to have relaxed family time while visiting the area attractions. We would stay here again and encourage others to stay here.

The house was mostly clean. The downstairs bathroom and shower was not a traditional shower but was operational. The main floor bathroom was clean with the exception of the shower tub.

Great Stay

We, as a group of 13, stayed over for two nights at this beautiful location. The house is good, with remark that the second bathroom might need some improvement. The garden is great, with a nice firepit to enjoy the stars and a drink in the evening!! Thanks for the wonderful time Fam Okker

Lots of outdoor space

We really enjoyed the place. Each family had their own floor to spread out. We did a lot of cooking and appreciated all the cookware/dinnerware. Loved the wrap-around porch and rocking chairs. Kids played a bunch of indoor games provided. If I had anything negative to say, it would be the water pressure in the downstairs shower. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

The cotragee was clean, quiet and comfortable. It slept 9 comfortably and was 30 minutes from Mamoth Cave. The nearby town had a Subway and Godfather's Pizza. Delta was very helpful when I had questions.

Our stay in kentucky

Our stay was pretty good. We enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table. We tried a few new games and liked them. I might recommend uno, skipbo, and Farkel, also a couple decks of cards. The weather was beautiful, we explored hidden river cave and ate near there. We didn’t like the plastic bed liner. Maybe add a cloth mattress pad. Thanks for the nice house, Kelly

Conklin/Taconi/Steel Sibling Reunion

We held our annual sibling reunion at the home and it worked out great for us. property We as a family like to hang out and sing karaoke so sitting outside on the patio and singing was perfect for us. The neighbors were a good distance from us so hopefully we didn’t aggravate anyone with our bad singing. The home could use some TLC but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect getaway!!!

The property was amazing. Just what we were looking for. The teenage boys had their own private area adults loved the kitchen and the porches!!! The kids explored the area. I can’t say enough great things about the house!!! We will definitely stay again!! Fabulous host. The best experience at a VBRO!! 4 adults, two 14 yo boys, 7 yo girl and a 3 yo boy. Something for everyone. We all hade our space, yet we had cozy family time. Don’t miss this place it’s a true gem!!!

we enjoyed the location for its quiet country setting. all amenities were just as listed. only down side for my group was the age of our group. stairs were not our friend. However that being said we loved the porch and the quiet location. the ability to gather around the large kitchen table and dine was awesome. I would reccommend this and i think we would book again knowing what we need to expect with the stairs
