Remodeled Cottage w/Gfireplace, super close to Fred Meijer Heartland trail

Charming lake front cottage located on a private all sports lake, located in Sheridan MI. One bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room with sliders out to your private beach. The living room has two futons that fold out into full size beds. Air conditioning, Wifi, and TV that you can cast too. Paddle boat included.
Private boat landing/launch if you wish to bring your own boat. Fire pit with wood for a couple of fires. Plastic lawn chairs are provided. Excellent private stocked fishing lake and lots of turtles and wildlife. Beautifully remodeled. Nearby is Crystal raceway, McBride Mid Michigan Motorplex, historic movie theater with a five dollar admission in Crystal, grocery store, restaurants, bars and ice cream.
All Sports Lake with great swimming, boating, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Lake stocked with crappie, rock bass, perch and walleye.

I need to get away and this was perfect. Great location right on the water. The interior was beautiful like a cabin in Northern Michigan. It was the peace I was looking for. I would stay again and I would recommend to anyone

My wife needed to work in Edmore for three days so we stayed here and it was great. The place was clean and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ice maker was an excellent addition. The views of the lake were amazing. Wi-Fi worked great, I work from there all three days. It was great for two people and would stay there again.

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I stayed here while our kids were at summer camp and it was just perfect! The cozy little cabin and as so inviting, refreshing and relaxing. The proximity to the lake, abundance of windows and natural decor made us feel like we were always outside sitting right on the lake even from the comfort of the couch. We loved exploring the Fred Meijer bike trail which was absolutely beautiful and talking with the neighbors who were so friendly! Telling us about Crystal Beach, good restaurants and even took us for a boat ride! The only downside of this location is it's lovely remoteness means you have to drive a ways to find restaurants and grocery stores. Would highly recommend a stay at this little cabin!

Weekend With Family

The cottage walls were lined with beautiful pine, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with toasters, toaster oven, crock pot, etc. Linens and pillows for the futons were available. We used the paddle boat, which needs some chain grease, but the adult kids enjoyed fishing from it. Plenty of towel were provided for the shower. Hosts were but a phone text away. 5 stars all the way

Quiet and Quaint

Property was as described and pictured. Easy check in. Air conditioner is not in an ideal place and we used the box fan to help cool more efficiently. Enjoyed watching the lake activities, a fire in the evening (got a bundle of kindling at an Amish farm), and watching the sunset. Walking the private road was a nice walk, everyone was friendly along the way.

The cabin was excellent except for VERY minor things. We loved the interior, the futons were comfortable, the bed was great, great view of the lake, clean inside, and freshly mowed grass. The oaddle boat worked just fine and I could have swam in the lake from the gradual descent of the lake. Things that could be improved, although very minor: clear out sliding screen door tract so door slides rather than having to constantly lift it; towel holders both in the bathroom and kitchen; jacket hooks near heater or in storeroom; kindling or an axe to create kindling from the wood pieces. Other than those things, we would stay again. We went to Hippiefest in Trufant and it was an easy drive from the cabin. I would suggest that you warn older people that the hill might be hard for an older person to navigate back up to the car. My relative who was going to come but didn't, would have struggled at age 77 getting up the hill. Great place.

You'll love it!

The cabin is everything the listing says it is. The property managers are amazing. I picked this cabin on account of the 100% 5 out of 5 reviews and i totally see why. I was totally impressed by how clean the cabin was. The futons are really nice and comfortable. I'll definitively be back to try and catch a few more crappie.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Well equipped vacation rental. Only one issue with the refrigerator, it kept freezing our produce even though we kept it set to a warmer setting. They just don't make refrigerators like they used to.

Beautiful View

We had a wonderful stay the property. It was perfect for my husband, me and our small dog. Very cozy and very well stocked. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic cute little cabin cottage

Perfect little cabin steps from the cutest most peaceful small lake. Everything we needed was provided here. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Just the right size for my husband, teen son and I and our pups. We stayed for five days and enjoyed the lake, sitting out by the fire, boating on nearby Crystal Lake and venturing up and down the western coast of Michigan and up to Mackinac for fun little day trips. Everyone around the lake was very nice and we joyed we couldn’t go anywhere - driving, even tooling around the lake passing by others is met with a wave and a smile. Just great little place for a nice getaway to relax and unwind.

Quiet peaceful cottage

The cottage was right on the lake. You could open the blinds and look out to see beautiful lake views. The cottage is clean and cozy. Had a fire pit and dock along with a paddle boat. Perfect for our small family including our little dog. The neighbors were very friendly. It was very quiet. Very calming.

Great little Cottage at the Lake

We were looking for a unique place to stay, away from the usual trappings of a bigger city. Your location being right on the Lake’s edge, was very special, calming, especially in the mornings watching the fog roll over the Lake and the many squadrons of Canada Geese floating across the lake with morning coffee. We especially loved the interior cabin design and furniture made for a very relaxing stay.
