Beautiful setting, very relaxing, clean cottage and well stocked. It was wonderful to kayak on the lake as well. Overall we had a wonderful visit.

Perfect quiet getaway

We were looking for somewhere quiet to relax together. The sunsets were beautiful. The water was clear and we enjoyed swimming right off of the dock. We took the kayaks out daily and enjoyed watching the loons and turtles. In the evening, the turtles were ready for J to give them some food and she named all of them. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. We used the grill in the evenings. Communication was great and very quick answers to our questions. Thank you

This property exceeded our expectations. The pictures were beautiful, and often when we get to a property it doesn't match the pictures, but this property was different. Our host was incredible with communication, and they have a gift for hospitality - every little thing you could think of to make the stay great was already done. Honestly, I can't think of 1 single thing I would change. I was looking for a place for my wife and me to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and I wanted to find somewhere in Michigan on a lake with Kayaks. We went out every night around sunset and enjoyed the peaceful lake and the views. The water is crystal clear - we saw fish, turtles, loons and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with every pan that we could possibly want, the gas grill was clean and nicely maintained. The fire-pit was a nice touch by the lake though it was too hot outside for a fire. Any issues that we did have were quickly addressed by our hosts. Honestly, the best VRBO we have every stayed in - and we loved it so much we want to come back every year on our anniversary. Thank you for an amazing stay!
The water was so still - kayaking was so peaceful and relaxing.

The deck was fantastic! We ate meals outside, and the umbrella was so cool - it had solar powered lights built in.
The dock was beautiful - the umbrella on the dock was a nice touch as well - the breeze was fantastic.

The lakefront property was very nice. It had great views. The chairs on the dock were a nice touch and my husband and I enjoyed an evening on the dock watching the sunset on the horizon and the turtles swimming about in the lake.

Amazing Cottage on Halfmoon Lake

Spent 3 nights there with my kids 6 and 8. Fished and swam of the dock everyday. Plenty of fish, and water was great. Neighbors were amazing, they took my kids out on their boat, and took them tubing. Fires next to the lake at night. TV is setup for whatever you need. Nice kitchen and bath. Debated not posting this to keep it a secret, but you wont regret staying here.

Amazing Cottage

Property is just as it appears in the listing. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed everything about the place. It was clean, bed was comfortable and it was very spacious. Floating at the end of the dock was very relaxing. I kayaked (using kayaks they provided) around the lake. It was beautiful. Host responded to questions quickly. I will definitely stay here again.

We chose this lake as our retirement home because of the beauty and peacefulness.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This lake is less populated than most, making it more peaceful and calm. The water is clean and clear and wonderful to swim in. A pair of loons make this lake their home and every year raise 1or 2 babies. It’s so soothing to hear their call flowing across the lake.
