Cool place. Very short walk to the beach. There are lots of stairs, so not good if you have mobility issues. The roof deck was nice, wish we had more time to spend there. The train is close and you can hear the announcements in the morning. I'd return with ear plugs. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I asked about a hair dryer (they had one), but never heard from the host. Overall positive experience.

The host was flexible with arrival time and access was easy to manage. The house was very comfortable and everything worked. We needed a place to stay for family members for a wedding nearby at the Seabird hotel. Some members took the train and the station was right there so it was a perfect location and it has a garage for the ones who drove. It’s close to the beach. We would definitely recommend the place. You can see the ocean from the rooftop deck.

The location was great. Close to downtown Oceanside and the beach. The unit was clean but could use some TLC. The walls had many scuff marks and even some holes. There is a water stain running down the wall from the upstairs living room AC unit. The rooftop umbrella had a broken bracket and therefore would not open.

The house was spotless, smelled so nice! The views were amazing. Beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped.

Perfect location

We traveled for a soccer tournament over Thanksgiving. The location was easily accessible and within walking distance to the beach and city center. It was nice to have garage parking. The kitchen has all the tools to cook our meals. Loved having the bathrooms attached to all of the bedrooms.

Unable to get in first night, but nice property

We had received an email from VRBO titled "Here are the keys to your trip!". However, upon landing at LAX the night of our arrival when we clicked through on that email it said that the host had not yet provided the access information. The VRBO rep and I both tried many times to call the host but no response. Consequently we had to find a hotel (reportedly VRBO will reimburse us for this but they have a time-consuming process in which we have to prove that we paid for a hotel room). The next morning I received a text from the owner in which he apologized for forgetting to send the access information, said that he'd gone to sleep by the time we arrived (presumably phone silenced) and credited us for the night (1 of a 3 night stay). He wrote that he's put a new system in place for himself to avoid this from recurring, and communication was good after the initial night. Nonetheless, we did not have access to the property as agreed and had to move into and back out of a hotel. Overall, this resulted in quite a bit of hassle for us. The condo itself was as advertised - an easy walk to the beach. Avis had given us an electric car rental and there was a charging station very nearby. We were happy with the condo. We were happy with everything except not being able to get in when we arrived and having to find a hotel 5 miles away late a night.

Family Wedding

We had a family wedding to attend in Oceanside. Paul’s townhome location was the perfect place for our family. It is walking distance to all of the restaurants, shopping, and the beach.

Great Location

The townhouse was large enough to comfortably sleep 8 people in 3 bedrooms each with double beds. We traveled for a wedding and probably should have looked at the amenities more closely as there wasn't an iron or ironing board. Communication with the owner/property manager could have been smoother - we had to ask a few times for the check in process and asked about a few items ( like Iron and hair dryer) and didn't hear back until we were already on a plane from the east coast. If you're planning on going to the beach you need to bring your own chairs and towels, however there is a surfboard and an umbrella for you to use.

Trip was great!! House was clean and comfy. Love the rooftop deck and how close it was to the beach and shops. Having parking was a plus. The communication with the owner was great too. It was convenient having washer/dryer to was baseball uniforms before games. One suggestion would be to have a couple beach chairs to take to the beach for travelers flying in.

Perfect stay!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. Cleanliness is very important to us, and it felt so clean and fresh! It was absolutely beautiful, very roomy, and felt brand new inside and out. Check-in and check-out was seamless, and there was excellent and timely communication with the Host. The location was just perfect, and we were able to park TWO vehicles in the garage and walk everywhere we wanted to go. The beach is steps away, and the view from the beautiful rooftop was simply amazing! Our Family will absolutely book this property again. We are extremely picky about where we stay, and always consider cleanliness and safety to be top priority. With that said, I highly recommend!

Great place!

Very clean, very close to the beach! Easy to get to. Two of the bedrooms had their own bathroom, which is an absolute dream. Would definitely stay again!

Oceanside in August

Extremely close to restaurants and to the beach. Property was very clean, comfortable and having air conditioning was definitely a plus!! Extremely nice to have a garage for parking. View from the roof top patio was nice to view the ocean and surrounding area. Would highly recommend this rental location!

Beach retreat

The townhouse was very nice. The home was clean and stocked with toiletries and shower essentials. We were only 2 blocks from the ocean and within walking distance to many restaurants. The check in process was easy and the owner was available when we had questions.

Relaxing beach stay

Great beach retreat. Property as described with a short walk to the beach. Beautiful rooftop views! Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!

Rooftop patio is awesome. Nice and clean. Well stocked with shampoo, etc, paper goods, kitchen tools, towels, blankets. Be careful if you have an issue with stairs. We loved the location and the house.

Highly recommend

This is well-located, very clean and comfortable condo just a block away from Oceanside beach. There are 2 parking spaces available inside the unit's garage. Also it has a patio with amazing views. There are a lot of stairs but my 90-year old mother was able to manage them. We would definitely love to come here again.

Perfection near the beach

We had a perfect stay! Days were filled waking in the morning enjoying coffee on the rooftop patio. Then we’d walk the one block to the beach. We’d come back and shower then walk to dinner. It was pure heaven! It was a spacious place to stay for us 5. Parking was convenient. Communication with the owner was a breeze. There was a smart tv to watch and wifi to do work. We had the BEST stay!

Close to beach

Very nice and clean, close walk to beach, provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and towels. There was a Amtrak nearby but ear plugs were provided.

Great Property in O-Side

The property is very clean and cutely decorated. We loved the rooftop deck. Easy walk to the beach. Nice showers, comfy beds, plenty of supplies (paper towels, trash bags, etc- not all VRBO's give you enough). One of the showers could use film to obscure the window. We appreciated the 2 spaces in the parking garage. We were not bothered by the train. The little one adored seeing the trains. The property is close to the Carlsbad village, Legoland, and the strawberry picking fields. I highly recommend this property and am anxious to return!
