It was a lovely location where we needed and the house was in a nice neighborhood. Loved that the host offered board games and the projector for the tv was a very cool touch!Overall a good trip but the reason for it not being a 5-star visit was just due to general maintenance and cleanliness of the facility. Hair in the bathtub, sticky counters, light switch falling out the wall, and a massive yellow stain on the bedsheet.The host was very nice and accommodating, no complaints.

Wonderful Stay

We needed accommodations a few days before a Carnival cruise. As advertised, the location was convenient to beach access, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. Home is old but cute and comfortable.

Nice little beach house, only a few blocks to the beach. Has all your basic needs for a nice stay.

The good:Enough places to sleep. Washer and dryer on site. Enough pots, utencils to make a meal. Shampoo was provided. Working fridge, oven. Needs improvement: could have been cleaned better. Kitchen counter and upper cabinets needed to be wiped. Webs all over outside. Frying pans all scratched. Only 1 fork, 1 mug, 1 bowl (others- plates, spoons, glasses enough)AC was preset to 63 so it got cold some nights. No curtains on some windows. Air filter needs urgent replacement.

Great Spot!

We really enjoy this neighborhood and will be back for sure. Such a sweet little house. It's just right for my two daughters and myself.

Good for the price

Very old but charming house. Not as clean as I would have liked, blinds in main bedroom are broken (stuck in the closed position, which is better than stuck open) and poor lighting. I had a to use my flashlight to go though my luggage even with the light on. However, it had PARKING which makes it worth it! I had no idea how nice a dedicated parking spot would be!

Long Beach Cousin Trip

Great location to walk to beach, restaurants & 4th Street Vintage area. Nice large living & kitchen area. However, the TV projector in living room could not be watched during day
only useable when really dark inside & outside. Back porch area was not clean. Kitchen countertops had not been cleaned. Beds not very comfortable. Bathroom was very out-datedWet laundry was left in dryer & dryer vent was full of lent. Never received check-out info.

Great location and price for the area.

Really enjoyed the area this little place was located, we had some amazing Thai food in walking distance from us. Long Beach seems to be on the expensive end, so it was nice to fine this place more in our budget. Host was communicative. Listing photos could use a little updating as some of the furnishings have changed.

We're first timers on Vrbo & this was perfect experience.

We definitely had a better experience in this home rather, than another hotel. Which was the reason we chose vrbo. WE loved the house, my kids felt comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and quite close to everything we needed!! even cool lil surprises we found there. Overall our family vacation was probably our most comfortable and relaxing BIG THANKS TO THIS HOUSE!! i was able to even wash clothes huge help. If its available next year i would book again for sure!!

Perfect location. Great value

This sweet cottage was perfect for myself and my two teen daughters. As a single mom I felt totally safe walking to all the fun areas close by with my girls. The house is old and has that cool charm. Relaxing on the front and back patios each morning and evening was great. The top bunk mattress was a bit uncomfortable for my 14 year old but other than that we all slept great! The host was very responsive and welcoming. We will stay again for sure.

Dont expect much

Mattresses were nothing, but springs and lumpy and not comfortable at all. there was mold and stuff growing around the air return and what appeared to be the original air filter.
