Great cabin close enough to town for any exploration but far enough in the mountains to be in nature, slept 9 of us a dog perfectly and met all our needs
We loved our stay here - everything was just as described, very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, property was great. Communication was excellent and check in/out was very simple. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely 12 night stay. The property is homey and welcoming to guests and pets. Having the crate and pen plus a fenced yard were wonderful! We did run out of paper products and dish and laundry detergents-and itâs quite the trip to the store so that was disappointing not to have enough supplied for our stay. And the house could use a bit of TLC-broken furniture (living room, dining room and patio) and a/c that wasnât cooling upstairs. But the house and patio are laid out well and the owner super to work with. Weâll book again!
We loved our stay at this cabin. My four teens all had space to spread out with comfortable family areas for us to spend time together. The property was the perfect secluded cabin we were looking for and we even had elk come visit us every evening.
We stayed here a week in the summer and really enjoyed the elk in the yard and neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was very quiet.
Great stay for our family of 6. Lots of room to spread out. Great area for side by side trail riding. Nice place to disconnect. Owner very responsive to a last minute request and was very accomodating.
Great location, very nice home and very pet friendly
The stay was Great! 7 min drive from water wheel waterfall parking . The home is fenced which is nice for the dogs . My family and another family stayed . A total of 10 of us. Plenty of bed/sleeping space . Nice clean home.
We had an amazing time! The house is gorgeous and very well kept. We saw elk several times, which the kids loved. There are several beds, tables and also two hammocks for relaxing.
I can't say enough about this place. It has it all! Hiking, fire pit, hammocks, wrap around deck, Elk in the yard, privacy, clean and the owner is very responsive. I highly recommend this home!
The cabin was exactly what I was looking for, for the kiddos spring break. The backyard goes into the Forrest which was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful, which is what I needed and relaxing on the hammock made it perfect. We enjoyed sâmores by the fire and my little one loved the tree swing. We will be back and already recommend to friends :)
The gates at both ends of the balcony and the large fenced in area make this home the perfect place to take your dog. We saw 4-5 elk every single day we were there. It was lovely. Our host was very kind and responsive to all our needs. He always responded to my inquiries within minutes.
Great property. Wooded and private. Cabin is spacious and perfect for families. Hiking right out the backdoor. Creeks and streams very close by. Highly recommend.
This property is the perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet; spend time with your dog(s); relax and read in the hammocks; go hiking; ride RZR's on the off-road trails and enjoy being away from the city. We had an absolutely AWESOME time! Thank you! :)
The property is just as described and the host was great. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay with your family (dogs included) that feels remote and private but isnât in the middle of no where, look no further. My children loved everything about our stay. We hiked in the forest, found geodes, played in the snow, laid in the hammocks, used the swing and play house and ventured out to see Water Wheel and Shoofly. We spent time inside as well by the fireplace, playing games, building puzzles and watching movies. It was exactly how we wanted to spend the long weekend away. Brick, the host was helpful and responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
This cabin was truly awesome! It was nicely secluded and backed up to forest land where we were able to take walks with the family. It was extremely clean and was stocked with all necessities as well as many fun amenities. The host was very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. Our family enjoyed our time at Whispering Pines and would stay there again for sure!
A native to Arizona, our home away from home is a beautiful cabin in the pines. Our family has found our happy place and we want to share it any chance we get!
Disconnecting from the world is so incredibly easy at our cabin! Out of the sight of neighbors and tucked up to miles of national forest but also just 25 minutes from a nice restaurant dinner or shopping trip if you choose.
