Points faibles : Propreté, commodités et état et installations de l’hébergement.
The property was not clean when we showed up. The shower was little and had soap scum in it and also held water on one side of the shower floor. There was cobwebs all along the ceiling in the bathroom and the toilet had rust stains all thru it. The carpets throughout the house was not vacuumed. The dishes that were put in the cabinet was put away dirty. Had we not spent so much money on our stay there or had another place to stay we would’ve left and went somewhere else. I know he’s gonna be upset with me for this review but I want others to be aware.

Nice fall getaway
We really enjoyed our second stay at the cabin. The weather was cold but we were able to keep the cabin warm and comfortable. We loved being so close to our son's house and were able to visit and spend time with them. Robert has made some nice improvements to the cabin. We were able to get internet and use our computers. It was nice to just relax in the evenings. We even got the chance to meet a couple of the neighbors. When we had some problems with the front door, Robert's brother came and made the repairs immediately. We look forward to staying again next spring.

The property manager is new to this and did a great job of communication! The location was great for us. The home needs some TLC, linens etc were all clean/fresh. Home is very old, so just needs some freshening up/updating. His communication was great - lots of details about the area/property and very flexible.

My Name is Robert . "The Cottage " was Built in 1929 and has been in our Family since 1942 when my Grandfather Alex bought it. He was a Polish Immigrant who started General Tool and Die. It was a defense contractor during World War II. My Father George was also a Tooling Engineer and Had his own company. My Brother and Sister spent our summers up here and did a lot of work to maintain the property . We did a lot of landscaping and planting . The property is about an acre of beautiful pines , evergreens , oaks and maples. We did the interior with an outdoors theme. We have a lot of Wildlife art and carvings. So Enjoy and welcome to our Northern Pike Cabin.

It has a large 1 acre Wooded and Landscaped Grounds with Beautiful Trees and Garden. Short (1 Block) walk to the lake with pier access. It's very relaxing with lots of elbow room and privacy. It brings you to a state of mind that you can't get anywhere else. You'll feel recharged and reinvigorated

Get the same quality of Fishing and Northwoods experience for a fraction of the cost and the drive time is only1.5 hrs from Chicago. Camp Lake has abundant Northern Pike , Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass . Weedless Spoon Bates and Plastic worms and twister tails give best results during spring and summer months . The Primary area is the Middle of the Lake from the South End in the 14 ' channel which runs from the south Boat Launch to the Deep End on the Northern End of the Lake . Also work the Cat Tails on the Southern End for Large Bass . Late Summer and Fall use Live Bait presentations with light wait Jigs and Crawlers or Minnows can produce large Northern and Bass, The lake also has Walleye and Muskie . For Panfisher (Men) ( Ladies) the lake has Perch and Crappie with plenty of Blue gills and Sunfish. The lake is stocked annually by the DNR and maintained by the CCLRD Camp and Center lakes Rehabilitation District. https://cclrd.org/ Its very close to the Chain of Lakes known for its boating and Lakeside Restaurants and Bars. Local Super Clubs like The Colony House and Stage Stop Super Club are close by. Golf at Spring Valley Country Club , Bristol CC, and Brighton Dale CC. All open to public.
Lots of Quaint Boutiques and Shops in Antioch, Wilmot , Twin Lakes , Paddock Lake and Lake Geneva. Lots of Great activities like Wilmot Motor Speedway Races, Blarneys Island Boat Races, Bong Recreation area for Radio Control Aircraft Hobbyists.
Bristol Gun Range for Rifle , Skeet and Pistol Enthusiasts. Great Public Beaches like Siver Lake and Paddock Lake.
