Sweet family cabin right on the edge of Chester's Big Meadow reserve. Amazing sunrise views, gorgeous dark skies for stars at night. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking easy.

Great place, has everything you need. Beds and couches are comfy. Only problem we had was finding the place the first night we arrived. It was dark and we couldn't see the driveway or the house (which is far back from the road). Reflective numbers at the end of the drive or a porch light on would have helped.

My 2 Technicians really enjoyed the home and how quite it was there for them and enjoyed having the lake view.

Cozy and cute place to stay just 30 minutes from Lassen Park. My Bestie and I used this as a homebase for visiting the park and a day of fishing for trout on Lake Alamanor. After a long day of hiking, it was nice to come back to this little nugget in Chester and sit by the fire pit and relax. The place is adorable, clean and just as is pictured and Patti was super responsive.

The location of the property was great and provided us with easy access to Lassen Volcanic NP for two days. The kitchen was tight quarters but more than made up for it with all of the accessories available and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner easily. It had great space for my two teens. The owners were responsive and lovely to work with.

Perfect, beautiful location and home for get-away

The property is at a beautiful location with a great view of the meadow by the lake. There's a great short trail that takes you through the meadow that we walked a couple of times. The home is very comfortable, very cleanly maintained, and has everything you need. Really appreciated nice touches like have bbq coals ready for us. Small but well-stocked kitchen.

Fantastic little hideaway with a great view

Comfortable beds, clean, quaint and unique. We enjoyed staying here. The view of Lake Almanor from the back porch was gorgeous.

Great Stay for weekend wedding

Perfect house for our family to stay for a lovely weekend wedding of our nephew! Loved the extra touch of having fireplace ready with kindling and newspaper. Beds were all very comfortable!

Cozy!

We love Chester! This was our first time staying in a VRBO while visiting Chester (and visiting this late in the season). The house was so cozy with beautiful views. We had a really relaxing visit and stayed warm with the wood stove. All of the board games, kitchen supplies, BBQ, etc. were so convenient. Our hosts have an easy check in and check out process. This laid back weekend was exactly what we were hoping for.

Great Stay

Awesome cabin that feels very cozy and homey in a lovely little town. Perfect place and house for a little get away with your partner or even the whole family. My partner and I had a lovely weekend and will certainly be back in the near future.

A beautiful location overlooking the meadow, with Lake Almanor and the mountains in the distance. Super cute house with a nicely stocked kitchen and pantry. Very homey.

A piece of paradise!

What a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary! A friend and I needed a recharge and this was perfect! The cabin is so cute! Clean and luxurious with a view that can't be beat! Patti was such a pleasure to deal with and so responsive to our questions! We can't wait to come back!
