Home away from Home

It was nice place to stay near where we wanted, loved that our pet was able to be with us. Communication with Host was quick respond time and any issue was noted and addressed. Would stay here again.

Everything was good. I had hoped to communicate with the host via text message. Using the VRBO app is a bit of a hassle, but we got it done. I would stay here again for sure. Thanks !

Nice Home

The home itself was nice but the furnishings were a little sparse, the decor could be improved, and the tvs could be larger. The front door requires a hard push to open. Overall, we had a good stay.

It needs some work

It wasn't terrible. The staff was courteous and communicated well. Over all I would stay here again since it was so close to my daughter and grand-daughter. Just a few small things that I know wouldn't take to much to fix. I Love Nintendo so I appreciated the Zelda theme in the master bedroom and bathroom. Honestly that was the best part. So much potential for this little house. The front door gets stuck and the first bathroom before you get to the bedrooms has plaster coming off the wall around the top of the shower exposing some metal/framework. I would recommend white towels as the black ones cant get bleached to kill any bacteria that may be growing in them. I got out of the shower to dry off and could smell a foul odor from the towels. I rewashed them but the smell wasn't coming out. Ended up running to the store to buy some new towels. The lawn care service came to cut the grass on our first day and left patches of long grass around the house. Owner may want to speak with the mowing crew about that.

Doesn't meet the VRBO standard

First, let me say that the communication was great. I received quick responses and answers to any/all questions. The pictures were a true representation of what is there. We had some issues such as the cleaning lady running late and the towels which she must have just washed were folded and put away damp, but that's not all on the property manager and can happen. However, there were many other issues and when all put together, they made for an unsatisfactory stay: We were told there would be soaps and shampoos-there wasn't. No towels, wash clothes or even paper towels in the kitchen. No trash can in the kitchen. The ice dispenser in the freezer didn't work, so we had to stick our hand in a grab ice by the handful. Maybe not an issue at my own house, but who know what hands have been in there. We couldn't get multiple electronics to work, and eventually figured out that most things were unplugged. Our biggest issues were with the quality of the property. First the location was ify. The eccentric decor was as advertised and to each their own, but when that is combined with the lack of basic furniture (bedside tables, lamps, a master with an unattached headboard that bangs on the wall every time you roll over, a tired couch that you need a cherry picker to get out of, I could go on...) it's a no With a VRBO I expect a certain standard. This applies to the cleanliness, the quality of bedding, mattresses, towels, and furnishings. Nothing in this property met that standard.

Nice sized house that fit our needs perfectly. large backyard for kids to play and the massage chair was great at the end of the day! Location was very convenient for us! Thank you William!
