Quaint cabin w/hot tub-10 min from Helen!

Small cozy cabin in the woods, close to Helen. We have a new hot tub, grill, internet, fireplace and 50 inch smart TV for your comfort. 20 mins from Cleveland, 10 minutes from Helen and 5 minutes from Unicoi State Park. Flexible with pets.
One thing we love about the property is the peacefulness. It does get very quiet at night sometimes and this is very relaxing. We do also enjoy making the occasional trips to Helen for some of the great restaurants and things to do there such as tubing down the river. There is also occasional wildlife, this is the mountains.

FYI the name of the cabin is Southern Oak Inn

Other Things To Note
The road leading to the cabin is a little rough. We make it just fine in our cars( Honda Civic and Accord) but the ride can be bumpy at the end.

The cabin was everything that was advertised. Clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy day, the kitchen was clean and well appointed. The host was very friendly and responsive to our questions. Thank you so much for sharing this property with us.

Great, cozy rental! The cabin itself was well-maintained and a nice getaway. The location wasn't quite as secluded as we hoped based on the listing, but still peaceful.

The cabin is amazing! It is remote so you don’t have to worry about neighbors. Everything was clean and very cozy!! It is also very close to quite a few attractions so that you are not bored during your stay.

Off the beaten patch, tucked into the mountain... definitely fulfilled our "mountain cabin" bucket list. Perfect location to get to all the best hiking trails and downtown Helen. Hot tub was a big hit for the whole family! Drove from the suburbs of Chicago, that "off highway" mountain drive was ROUGH but worth the 4 days tucked away! Packed what we could but didnt have enough room, wish the cabin supplied a few extra warm blankets, but we were cozy either way! :)

Host responds quickly. Loved the screened-in hot tub and that the property was dog-friendly. King bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Easy 10 min drive into town. Easy check in and out. Check out Betty’s country store in Helen for desserts.

We very much enjoyed our time, there were a couple things that we were disappointed with, the hot tub was not clean at all, there was also something going on with the water in the cabin,It kept cutting in and out. Again we very much enjoyed our time. . My wife was looking very forward to the hot tub.

It was a nice stay. Lots of towels and well stocked kitchen. Only complaint was that the hot tub didn’t warm up in time to use it the first night. We used it the last 2 and it was wonderful. Will book again in the future at this one or other cabin nearby.

Quick weekend getaway, a very relaxing and enjoyable place for two ppl. The kitchen cabinets are surprisingly well-stocked for a homey feeling. Need more steak knives; there's currently only one, plus a couple of butcher knives.It was nice and clean; no bugs, plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper...thank you!

Great place!

My partner and I stayed here for our 4th anniversary on our trip to Helen. The property was very clean, very nice atmosphere. I loved the wilderness around us and this place helped our trip be one we will cherish forever. Will definitely consider coming back the next time we visit Helen!

Cute cabin

We wanted privacy and this little cabin was perfect for it. Helen and Unicoi State park are really close. As the owner stated, the road is a little rough, but we had no problems with the road or getting up to the cabin. Great for a weekend getaway.Would definitely stay here again.
