Best kept secret

This condo exceeded our expectations with the size, cleanliness and amenities. It felt like home away from home and the ease in access to local attractions was a plus. We Will definitely try and book it again during our next visit to the Tidewater area.

Great Host

Great host, accurate description of property, perfect stay. The condo was easy to get in and out of and close to the highway. The coffee shop is in the same building and the micro brewery was super close. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Thanks again!

Great apartment, great location

Close to highway to get to everything quickly, great coffee shop, pizzeria and bar on 1st floor, brewery and distillery right next door. Clean place and great communication with owner. Will definitely rent again when i come back to Newport News!!

We Turned right Around When We Saw The Roach On The Bed

There was a roach on the bed when we first checked in. We stayed for no more than 5 minutes and went to a hotel.

This place was amazing, I love the rustic look it gave. Karl was great at communicating with us from start to finish. This was my husband and mine get away before he got back on the road so we just wanted some alone time. Only issue and it was a big one was the AC wasnt working. I called Karl and he responded in a timely manner and made arrangements to have it fixed that day. Unfortunately, it stop working again and since it was just for two night stay we managed through it. However, again Karl responded and said he would have it fixed, i told please just wait til we left to avoid the rest of our stay interrupted. Please note the view is a shipyard but we didnt care. The area was nice and a couple of eatery to indugle in including a Whiskey Distillery. Overall dispite the AC issue I would come back again. Execellent experience. KARL you are the best Host.

Needs Improvement

Check in was very easy. Location was great. Place looks exactly like the pictures online. Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars. We checked in right at 4pm. At first glance everything looked great. As we started checking to make sure it was cleaned to our standards we noticed the couch had pet hair all over it, the rug had a stain on it, the floors had not been swept and the bedding was not clean. We contacted the host, he responded immediately. A cleaner was sent to take care of the issues. However, this was our first time using VRBO to book a stay so this was a complete let down. The price point would have been fine if the unit was properly cleaned. We picked this place to avoid filthy hotels, so you can see why we were disappointed. A better cleaning crew and this place could be great. If not it'll go downhill in no time. Good luck!

Amazing loft/condo

This is a diamond in the rough. The location couldn't have been better. Had a brewery right next door and great food close by. Condo was very clean and newly renovated. Loved the industrial feel of the place. Everyone we met in the area was great. Highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.

My wife and I and our 4 children live in Virginia Beach. We are a very active family of 6 that loves to travel. Our family's favorite places are the mountains and beaches of Virginia!

We enjoy all the experiences that Virginia Beach has to offer. From the beaches and boardwalk to the restaurants and nightlife of Town Center and everything in between, you are sure to find what you are looking for. We absolutely enjoy this beautiful East Coast resort town.

When we want to get away we head for the Blue Ridge Mountains. We can unwind with hiking, wineries, breweries, snow tubing, skiing and so much more. There's no shortage of things to do or adventures to find for our on-the-go family.

When you stay at one of our homes we take into consideration everything a group like yours needs. Whatever makes our stays more enjoyable and memorable we make sure to include. Thank you for choosing to stay at one of our favorite spots!
