Copake Lake Rustic All-Season 3 Bdrm, 2 Bath Home

Post and beam country home with lake rights on beautiful Copake Lake only 2 hrs from NYC. Perfect for Summer activities, a Fall weekend or Winter skiing at nearby Catamount. (Ski Season Rental also available.) Enjoy this charming home with large sliding glass doors and windows surrounding the open dining, living and kitchen areas. Large two-tiered deck overlooks the open and forested property with grill, picnic tables and lounge chairs. The main floor has two cozy bedrooms, each with double bed and closet and one full bathroom with shower/tub. Upstairs is a master loft bedroom with queen bed, closets, bathroom, plus separate reading nook. One pull out queen couch on main floor and one couch on ground floor provide extra sleeping. Copake Lake is a 5 minute walk (or you may drive) down a private gravel road to a shared area that provides access to swimming and picnic table. Kayak and boat rentals available at Marina. A short drive to grocery stores, farm markets, hiking trails, restaurants and gas stations. Nearby Copake Country Club offers golf and indoor/outdoor dining. Hudson, Great Barrington and other Berkshire and Catskill activities close by. This home is fully winterized with wood stove and electric baseboard heat. An ideal location, in any season, for your perfect getaway in the country!

Perfect Cabin Amazing Woods Feel

Fantastic Cabin in the woods. Deer everywhere and so close you can smell them. Just a perfect put together cabin. Such a homey feel amazing views of the woods and nature. The multi-tiered deck and great wood stove makes it a perfect place to unwind and relax. Just a great place and I plan on booking there again.

Second Visit

A return visit after a July introduction to the Copake region proved to be another joy. Beautiful weather, early foliage, stress free driving and a comfortable accommodating place to stay surely lowered my blood pressure. Time to flee Massachusetts, perhaps?

Wonderful weekend with friend’s & family

The house was perfect for our family of seven. Very well stocked with all of the necessities needed and wanted. My grandchildren had a wonderful weekend of skiing and playing family games. Will definitely be looking for this house. The next time we go north skiing.

two weeks at Copake Lake

We had a lovely time in Marissa's warm and cozy house. Her directions were wonderfully organized, and everything we needed was comfortably available. It was perfect for our extended family--us oldies upstairs and my daughter and son-in-law and the baby had plenty of room to spread out. We all did yoga on the deck every morning, and the swimmers among us really enjoyed the lake. Thanks so much for a terrific vacation.

The property is beautiful, immaculate and cozy. We loved the house and Marissa was an excellent host. Our only complaint was that we hoped for a better waterfront for swimming at the lake. Some of the private community members at the dock area were not as welcoming as one might hope. We would absolutely come again, and simply plan to find lake access at nearby state parks instead of rhe property rental itself.

We stayed here for a Thanksgiving visit with family near bye. It was a perfect spot. Very comfortable with everything one could need. We will definitely be back.

A lovely and comfortable stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Property is rustic but elegant and thoughtfully decorated. It is extremely clean and with all modern comforts such as high speed wifi (handled all my zoom calls and Netflix movies), air conditioning, kitchen was well stocked. The property is private and peaceful. We did not use the beautiful outdoor deck but spent a lot of time at Copake Lake, to which the property is within walking distance. We will rent here again!
