A 16 minute walk thru historic Wilmington to get downtown. 4 minute walk to Castle St. Antique district w/shopping and restaurants. Stroll down the cobble stone streets to acclaimed restaurant RX, Wilmington Wine Bar, Cafe Luna, Jesters Cafe, Castle St. Kitchen and Antique shops. Newly remodeled in Jan. 2022. New Furniture, TV's, Mattresses, Bedding, Kitchen amenities and Bathrooms. Free trolley stop @ Castle st. and 5th st.

The host was excellent. They even gave suggestions on things to do in the area.I loved their book with local restaurants. We were 1 mile from downtown. We walked a couple of times. It was also easy in and out when we went to watch the fireworks. We parked at a parking deck near Dock street.The house is better than expected. The master bedroom was amazing. Our teenagers were happy to have the second floor to themselves. I loved the sun room. They had most basics needed for the kitchen. They had a mini fridge, and a regular one.I loved the Notre Dame banner next to the fridge. It made us feel at home, so far from it.I hope to visit again soon.We were visiting a friend that lives in the area, and this was perfect.

The house is amazing! It was absolutely perfect for my extended family! The downstairs master suite far exceeded my elderly parents' expectations and was perfect for their mobility challenges and privacy needs. We enjoyed the comfortable seating in the sunroom and in the backyard... where the string lights created the perfect atmosphere. The living room was a great gathering space for conversation and the dining room was just the right size for meals and family games. We enjoyed the eclectic decorations. So many really nice touches and a very responsive host! Combined with the great location, I can't wait to stay there again! I highly recommend this property!

Girl’s Trip to Wilmington!

Craig’s home was lovely! Perfectly suited for our group of 6 adults. Plenty of room, beds were comfortable, hot water quality and pressure was perfect! We walked to Castle Kitchen Thursday night for dinner and loved it so much we returned Saturday for brunch. Best of Everything!

Loved staying in this Wilmington home in the historic district. The location was an easy walk to the Riverwalk and the general historic district with a lot to offer. The house itself was charming and met all our needs for a family gathering. Good beaches are a short drive away. Communication with the owner was easy and practically instantaneous! Craig is an awesome host. He really looks out for the customer. He stocks things other hosts do not: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, trash bags……….. We did not have to run right out to the grocery store. He checks on you after your arrival to make sure everything is to your liking. I would very highly recommend this house!

Great Place

A group of us stayed for a conference in town and found the house to be ideal for us. Very clean and nicely decorated. The coffee shop, Luna, around the corner was an easy walk and had great coffee, and Gravity Records, next to it, was a treat for a vinyl fan. RX Oysters and Chicken nearby was the highlight meal of the week.

We loved this spacious house, and it had everything you could need for a short or extended stay. The furnishings are great, beds are comfortable, and location is ideal. Perfect Home Base

All the siblings and their spouses came together for a 4 day vacation. Craig was quick with communication and extremely accommodating. We had all the comforts of home we needed to cook at the house when we wanted. There were multiple clean bathrooms and all the towels we needed. There were recommendations all over the house and lots of fun games to play when we wanted to hang at the house and take a tourist break. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for a fantastic home away from home!

Great location, cool decor

I love the Castle Street neighborhood and this home with its quirky artwork fits the vibe perfectly. There was an issue with the oven not working but the host was great about coming up with a backup plan so we could cook. The downstairs BR and bath are well-suited to either elderly or disabled visitors, but be aware that the stairs to the second floor are quite steep!
