The whole house was very clean and up to date. Furniture was very nice and comfortable. Bathrooms are very important to me and both of these bathrooms exceeded my expectation by a rental. Bathroom towels were new and plush; could have used a couple more hand towels. Definitely the owner takes pride in his property. Positively a re-rental on a future Wilmington visit.

Stayed for a week with five total adults and a small dog. Check-in and check-out were both super easy and communicated effectively. Our favorite parts were the kitchen and the screened-in outdoor area. Both were stocked nicely and had lots of extra amenities (i.e., a fire pit, dish washer, blender, etc.). Had to contact the owner for a propane tank for the fire pit, but they were very kind and took care of that fairly quickly. Only other critique was the hallway shower drain was very clogged, but we shared that in our exit message with the owner, and they said they’d fix it and thanked us for our communication. New fancy thermostat too, which seems silly to comment on but was great for keeping it nice and cool how we liked it. Overall great experience in a nice and quiet little neighborhood. Super close to lots of fun things to do. Would stay again!

What a lovely property! Check it out!

Our family arrived in NC for a surprise proposal for our youngest daughter. We pulled it off! She was so shocked to see her whole family and we spent the weekend having a lovely time. The open floor plan allowed for them to visit us on our rainy Saturday and we had so much fun playing games and singing karaoke! The house had so many welcoming touches that really made it a home! Great communication with the owners and a great place to relax and enjoy family and friends.

Clean and tidy home with close access to the beach and other area attractions. The fenced in backyard was perfect for my dog. The Host was responsive to my inquiries. I was visiting family in the Wilmington area and this home met all my needs for the week. I would recommend this home for those visiting the area.

Loved this little house

Great renovation in a quiet neighborhood. You can tell that a lot of thought went into providing all the essentials for travel. Super clean and although we never needed anything the property manager reached out to check on us multiple times. Great rental and a good price!!

Graduation trip

This was the perfect house! It had everything we could possibly need!!! It was clean and in a quiet and safe neighborhood! It was close to everything! Host was amazing and really worked hard with the small details to make the home a home away from home.

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted to take my elderly father to see the battleship. He has Alzheimer’s and doesn’t do well with traveling, especially if he can’t take his two dogs. The backyard setup was perfect for us to bring the dogs. The walk in shower in the primary bedroom was great for my dad’s mobility issues. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located to anything we needed. It is hard to find a rental that allows pets and has the amenities we need, so my parents don’t get to travel much. This was a much needed trip for our family. I am so thankful I found this property.

Close and convenient to Everything Wilmington

Wonderful Wilmington NC

Loved the open feeling of this home. Older but very tastefully updated with all the amenities we needed. Walkable neighborhood for our dogs, also had beautiful Long Leaf Park nearby. Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to Wrightsville Beach. Loved the screened in outdoor room. Very happy with our stay.

Restful Retreat

We were in town for a funeral, and found this home to be a lovely place to recharge and rest. The screened in porch is the perfect spot for a quiet breakfast or listening to the sounds of nature in the evening. The house was clean and spacious for us. It is also very central so it was easy for us to get around town. Definitely recommend

Great for Wilmington stay

Our family stayed here for an extended weekend while attending a UNCW camp. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet; the house was cute, clean and stocked with basic needs; the owner was responsive and checked in on us during the stay (via VRBO/email) to make sure we were settled; the check in/out process was simple; the home & back yard are super pet friendly; it is very conveniently located to Wilmington shops, restaurants, the local water park & arcade, UNCW, and the beach! We would definitely stay here again!!

Wilmington Encanto

The house was very nice. Everything else was a nightmare. Manager was not responsive to ANY of our concerns. There was a minor issue at check in that could have been resolved very easily. It ended up putting a damper on the entire stay. There were EXTREMELY limited supplies of everything in the house. We would never stay here again

College visit stay

Deanna was absolutely the best communicator. Almost Immediate. Location near food, beach, Riverwalk & uni is convenient. So many times when you check into a rehab’d property, you notice loads of sloppy shortcuts. Not here. This a lovely house & most of what you want for a short stay is provided. Having 2 king sized beds is awesome altho the main one is crunchy. Providing wine glasses & covering the front door window would be nice tweaks along with better bed pillows.

Very nice property, exactly as listed. Snacks and coffee greatly appreciated, as we were only there for a short visit with family. Could easily be ADA compliant with addition of bars in shower and railing on front steps.

Absolutely Amazing!

What a gem! In town for a wedding and stayed the weekend. House is recently renovated and very clean. Great quiet neighborhood and large backyard, great for family to run around. House has a nice screen porch and great layout. Would stay again of back on town!

Relaxing

We were looking for a reasonably priced place close to the beaches and the Riverwalk for vacation. It was easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood. We visited Riverwalk (downtown), Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach via the Aquarium. We got to all locations within 30 minutes: Downtown 15 minutes and Wrightsville 10 minutes. The host checked in with us and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The house was well stocked. Each room, including the screened in porch had SmartTVs with streaming service subscriptions. We loved the house and would stay again. Great family time!
