Relax with the whole family at our spectacular lake retreat! Plenty to occupy all ages and hobbies. Fish from multi-level dock, launch your boat or jet ski from private launch, swim in the year-round deep water, swing over the water or kayak to the sand bar to hang out! You can also relax on the top deck in our lounge chairs, stay cool under the pergola w/fans or take a break in the hammock or double swing. Play pool, shuffleboard or lawn games. Wind down around the fire pit or in the hot tub!
Four bedroom/Four Bath house on Shoals Creek (an off shoot of Wilson Lake) with amazing outdoor activities. The home has a two level boat house/dock with 2 boat slips, a boat lift, 2 jet ski lifts, and water swing on the bottom level. There is a private boat launch that is only shared with the next door neighbor. The top of the boat house is an incredible relaxation space. Multiple lounge chairs sit under a pergola complete with privacy curtains and fans, beverage cooler and table with chairs. We have 3 kayaks for guest use as well as some fishing poles and gear.
Enjoy the front yard that looks out over the dock and water from the covered front porch, the hammock or 2 person wooden swing.
Gather around the built in firepit and tell family stories as you roast marshmallows or hot dogs. We have multiple roasting sticks for guest use.
Feed the whole family using the Blackstone griddle or gas grill! There are plenty of tables and chairs outside for an amazing picnic. We even have lawn games for all our guests to enjoy.
If the weather isn't cooperating or if you want something to do off the water hang out in the large garage that is air conditioned while watching TV and playing pool or shuffleboard. There is also a full bath in the garage so you can rinse off after you've been in the lake without having to come in the house to do so.
The hot tub is wonderful for soaking your cares away and relaxing those sore muscles after being on the lake. ***Hot tub is currently broken (4/29/24 but hoping to be replaced soon). Please check with owner on status if that is a deal breaker!***
The screened in back porch is a comfortable place to hang out with rocking chairs, a porch bed swing and dining table. It also has an air conditioner to help with the temps during those hot summer afternoons.
The house itself is comfortable, spacious and has wonderful views of the water.
Gather the whole family in the open living room/kitchen/dining room for a movie night on the big screen TV and snuggle in on the comfy sectional sofa.
Play games around the built in window seat dining table or just hang out together while preparing meals or snacks. Between the large kitchen island and window seat dining table there is seating for 14 people.
The master bedroom is on the main floor and looks out over the lake. It has a queen sized bed. The master bath has a walk in shower. (Sleeps 2)
There is a second full bath on the main floor which has a tub/shower combo.
Also on the main floor is the laundry room with washer/dryer.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a full bath with a shower/tub.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a twin over twin bunkbed. (Sleeps 4)
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. (Sleeps 2)
Bedroom 4 has two twin over double bunk beds and a twin over twin bunk bed. (Sleeps 8)
For families travelling with small children we do provide a changing table, high chair, booster seat, pack n play and some outlet covers. We also have an assortment of baby/toddler toys. Please see our house manual for the location of these items.
Well behaved, housebroken pets allowed with prior approval and pet rent of $25/day/per pet.  Bringing pets without approval or payment of pet rent is grounds for reservation cancellation without refund.  We do have a large gate that blocks our front porch and pets can be kept on the porch.  We are in a somewhat rural area and there are dogs that occasionally run loose, please watch your pets, we are not responsible for pet safety.  We do have a small dog lifevest and medium dog lifevest for use if needed.
Guests will have access to the entire property. There are a couple owners closets that are locked as well as the garage fridge. Please stay out of those areas.
You are welcome to use the garage but refrain from going into our garage storage loft or using materials there.
Our home is on Shoals Creek, a year-round deep water channel of Wilson Lake. You are about a 20 min. boat ride to the main part of Wilson Lake. We are very close to Blue Hole (you can see it from our dock) which is a sandbar hang out spot for summer fun.
The driveway and private boat launch are shared with our neighbor (the homes used to be owned by the same family). Please do not block access to either and be respectful to our neighbors.
The last .8 of a mile to our house is a dirt road. It is well maintained but in times of lots of rain or bad weather it can have pot holes. We are not responsible or liable for road conditions.
Our home is about a 20 min. drive to the city of Florence where you will find all your major stores and restaurant and fast food establishments.
We are close to Muscle Shoals, Helen Keller birthplace, W.C. Handy Music Festival, Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House, Wilson Lake Dam (home of incredible bass and catfish fishing), and world class golfing with 2 championship courses as well as other courses nearby.
Please note that our home's centerpiece is its access to nature. Along with the joys of the outdoors comes some downsides and one of those are outdoor bugs. You may see evidence of these creatures around the house. We do have regular pest control as well as mosquito spraying but it cannot take care of everything. Please try to keep the doors to the house shut if you have porch lights on as the bugs will come inside as they are attracted to the light.

Owners have a cat and dogs that will not be here during your listing but they do occasionally come inside, please be aware if you have allergies.
