Perfect beach Retreat for 4 with Great Location!

Located on Historic Rosenberg Street, this 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment will not disappoint. The property is located in one of the most sought out areas within minutes walk of Galveston's Pleasure Pier, beautiful Beach and many other attractions! This apartment is fully renovated, sleeps 4 featuring a private 1 bedroom with Queen Bed, Queen sleeper sofa in the living area! If you do not want to mess with eating out, enjoy the small kitchenette with a 2 burner Stove Top for a quick and easy meal!

Our fully remodeled cozy apartment sleeps 4, perfect for a small family getaway or a couples retreat. Our apartment has a private 1 bedroom in the back, followed by a living area and kitchenette. In the living area, we have a Queen Sleeper Sofa as well as a Smart TV. Enjoy a meal in the dining area or The Kitchenette offers a small refrigerator/freezer, Standard Black and Decker Coffee Pot (coffee not included), Microwave, sink and a 2 burner Stove Top. There are basic cooking utensils for Stove top cooking and Dishes, silverware. One Large Towel and One Washcloth included per guest. The apartment is in a Residential Street Parking area along Rosenberg and cross street.

Our stay was wonderful. I pulled off the Linens mattress cover was very soiled. Pillows need to be changed out. That's all my complaints but other than that is great. We will do it again.

Nice rooms, especially the kitchen area but neighbors were loud. Could hear every laugh, cough, and conversation. Even next door outside neighbor. Walking distance to the Pleasure Pier and Fish Tales restaurant. Parking is at a premium but a parking placard was provided, just don’t always expect to park in the same block. Front door window needs a sun shade of some sort in the evening; very bright. Nice floors but a couple issues with low spot in the bedroom and bathroom threshold. Couldn’t figure out where to turn on dining room light. Didn’t care for the leather couch, but that’s just our personal preference. Would be nice to have a place to lay out suitcases.

My sister and I absolutely loved this VRBO rental! It was clean, had lots of space for two people, and is literally two blocks from Pleasure Pier/the beach!

I feel it may be important to note for other travelers that it is across the street from a very raucaus gay bar and there were police responding to some disturbance there every night. One night was replete with 3 ambulances and every cop on the island it seemed. It didnt partucularly bother us but would not want our teenage children exposed to some of the interesting scenes we were entertained by. The condo was perfect for what we were looking for and appointments and furniture were adequate. Another note- there were no non-perishable things like coffee and salt/pepper. Again, not a complaint just something to be aware of so you can plan accordingly.

Great Couples Getaway Spot

We had a great long weekend stay here. The location of the room couldn't have been more perfect! It was an easy, walkable location with attractions and restaurants close by. There were a few things inside like towels with holes and a few stains, we couldn't figure out how to get the cook top to work, and there was a hole in the bedroom wall, all of which did not affect our stay; however, might be something for the owners to want to address for future renters. Parking was street parking but we never had an issue finding a spot within a block away. It's able to hold 4 people, but may be too tight of a spot for 4 adults. Great place for our first time in Galveston. Thanks!

Found this booking after a last minute decision on where vacation would be this year, it accommodated my family of 4 in a pinch perfectly! Location verses pricing is AMAZING! Would definitely recommend to others and stay again!

Beach Retreat Review

My overall impression of my stay at this Beach Retreat is that it was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very close to Pleasure Pier and Chic-Fil-A. It could have been better if it had a washer and dryer that was accessible.

We stayed here during the historical homes tour. It is a convenient location and easily walkable to several restaurants, Pleasure Pier and Murdocks.

It's All Good

I was in Galveston competing in a national Plein Air landscape painting competition. I needed a location convenient to everything Galveston. I also needed a location with direct access to the street but still quiet. This location provided everything I needed.The property was clean, well furnished and as represented on VRBO website. Had a great air conditioner!The only inconvenience was parking over the weekend. During the week parking was not an issue.

What we needed

Property is about 3 minutes walk to beach. Nice area. Off street parking which could be an issue during busy season. Very clean and was an easy check in process. Would stay again if in area.

Thanksgiving getaway

We loved this place. The location was amazing! Perfect size for us two. My only complaint would be the thin walls. We could hear everything in the house and unfortunately had very loud, inconsiderate neighbors directly next to us. We didn’t let it ruin our quiet getaway.

Relaxing and feels like home

My wife and I wanted a break from the city and have a relaxing weekend. This place was the answer to my prayers specially when it was close to pleasure pier and other restaurants. I definitely recommend this place to enjoy yourself with your spouse.

Great place great location

Great place to stay close to everything! Only problem is parking you only get 1 parking pass so you have to chance getting your other car towed on the residential curb side parking only around the property or park far away in public parking. The parking situation was never mentioned in listing. The maintenance man was very helpful by letting us park at his residence so problem solved!

Mother’s Day weekend
